We recently connected with David Thibodeaux and have shared our conversation below.
David, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
I think that every working artist is always in a process of creating and developing the tools of the craft and discovering the joy of doing the work.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I started as self-taught Photoshop artist and using my own photography as the raw material for digital painting. Photoshop allows the artist to manipulate the image in color, composition, texture and luminosity to create coherent and striking images.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice
I’m only recently beginning to produce NFT’s and I think it’s an exciting new platform for art and creativity.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My driving goal is to consistently produce great work and to challenge myself to excel . It took a long time to fall in love with my own work, but it was worth the effort.
