Yes , I manage my own social media . I find it to be so much more personal . With art , it is straight from the heart and soul and people are buying a pc of you … so that is why I always love to get to know each and every collector and interact with them not only in person but on social media as well . I never copy and paste response messages to the people who interact with my work , which I find is usually the model for some of the companies that “take care of your social media “ I like a more hand to hand combat plan lol . My background with social media has lead me to stay on top of trends, target my ideal consumer and build a pawsome community. I believe small steps lead to big results. Being an independent photographer and videographer, I am managing my own social media. I am a one man team, so it’s relatively not as structured as it should be, but there is no reason for me to hire a manager at this point in my career. I have always managed all of our social media. This puts me directly in front of all our customers and potential customers. Being on the front line allows me to listen and receive instant feedback. Helps me discover the needs and wants of customers as well as putting me in touch with competitors and other like minded business/entrepreneurs. Our social media accounts could grow faster with an agency or company, but i feel lots of information would get lost in transition. Read more>>
