Mary , appreciate you joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

Inspiration for The Arch came from a blend of my banking career and my love for catering and event planning. The passion I felt while helping bring people’s dreams to life through weddings and events was far more satisfying than any commercial banking success. I found joy in the smallest details – floral arrangements, venue decorations, and event planning.

Visiting various venues during this time, I noticed gaps in the services they offered. The families and couples needed a space where they could spend their entire day, a place that catered to their every need without the hassle and stress of traveling to multiple locations.

In every corner of The Arch, in every event we host, you’ll find a bit of my heart. It’s more than a venue; it’s a place where love stories are written. Let us help you write yours.

“While working in banking, I found my true calling in the world of catering, event planning, and design. Seeing the smiles on people’s faces and being a part of their journey into a new life chapter was far more rewarding than any financial transaction.

At The Arch, we offer an all-inclusive wedding experience. Our goal is to minimize stress for the couple by providing every service they may need for their special day. From catering to floral designs or assisting you with vendors we’ve got it all covered.

We’ve created spaces within The Arch that cater to every aspect of a wedding day. There’s a place to get ready, a garden for the ceremony, and a glass enclosed area for the reception. We have thoughtfully designed spaces for the couple and their family, allowing them to create unforgettable memories without ever having to leave the venue.

What sets us apart is our commitment to creating an unforgettable experience for each couple. We have a dedicated team that works tirelessly to make dreams come true. As the owner, I love creating floral arrangements and capturing the vision of our clients. It’s these personal touches that make The Arch truly special.”

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.

“My side hustle indeed blossomed into a fulfilling career. As a special asset officer in banking, I was the one tasked with foreclosures and handling repossessed properties. However, my passion for event planning and catering, which began as a hobby, gradually grew into something more significant.

As I started catering for more than just family and friends, I realized that this was what I truly enjoyed. The joy I felt in creating memorable experiences for others far outweighed any satisfaction I derived from my banking career.

When I was offered the opportunity to create a venue, I was ready to bring my vision of The Arch to life. It has been a remarkable journey, filled with learning and growth, transforming from a side hustle into an award-winning wedding venue.”

When I had the chance to secure the property for The Arch, I filled these gaps. The venue became a haven where couples and their families could relax and relish their day, creating memories without wasting precious moments on travel.
The Arch embodies all those ‘if Only’s’ I experienced at other venues, and I’m proud to say we offer an experience that’s unique in the industry.”

How do you keep your team’s morale high?

“Teamwork is the magic ingredient at The Arch. Our ‘A-Team’ is more than a group of individuals; we’re a family committed to crafting unforgettable weddings and events. The A-Team will take the stress, so you can make the memories. We share a vision, a purpose, and a deep love for what we do. Keeping morale high is about nurturing a positive environment where everyone feels valued. We celebrate love in all it’s beautiful forms.
