We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Victoria Molina Alou. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Victoria below.
Hi Victoria, thanks for joining us today. In our experience, overnight success is usually the result of years of hard work laying the foundation for success, but unfortunately, it’s exactly this part of the story that most of the media ignores. So, we’d appreciate if you could open up about your growth story and the nitty, gritty details that went into scaling up.
I am not a huge influencer by any means. With over a thousand followers on Instagram and over three thousand on TikTok, I know those numbers a small compared to many influencers out there. For me though, those numbers are huge, as I have been able to make an impact with those smaller figures. I have received multiple collaborations and ambassador opportunities, have been able to share with others products I truly love and use in my every day life, now have my own Amazon Storefront where I am able to receive commissions because of my numbers and bubbly personality, but there is one thing in particular that my Disney pages have brought into my life. I have been able to find individuals whom I have built relationships with. I have always been a Disney enthusiast and have always loved showing this part of me through my sense of style, but since creating these pages, I have met other individuals who love doing the exact same thing! This has had a huge impact within my life, as it has helped me to realize that it pays to truly be yourself.
Victoria, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Victoria Molina and I am a 28 year old young woman, who just got married to her prince charming! I am a Disney enthusiast who goes to the Walt Disney World Parks at least once a month, as we are Annual Passholders. We recently just traveled to Aulani as well for the first time on our Honeymoon. I enjoy creating colorful, informative, lively content for my followers, so that there is something for everyone, whether it be shopping through my Amazon Storefront, to following on my journey of my Disney adventures, to my every day lifestyle hacks and loves. I love to help and work with brands that I know work and can trust, this way my followers know that they are able to trust me, and what it is that I am sharing with them.
I have two Instagram accounts that I share my content on, my main one being @disneyeuphoriawithvictoria and then my personal account @dancinggrl365. I also have a TikTok account @disneyeuphoriawithv. I also now have an Amazon Storefront, as stated above, where I love to share products that I have found to use either in the parks or at home in my everyday life.
I am upbeat, responsible, and reliable. I have a BA in Communications with a Minor in Education and an ESOL Certification as well as an MBA with a certification in Global Marketing, and am a current PH.D student studying Ethical Leadership. I enjoy going on daily walks, working out, dancing, and of course walking around the Disney Parks. I currently work a 9-5 job, but have big dreams and goals to eventually support my family working from home and doing work that I enjoy, such as creating more incredible content for all of you!
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
There are many goals and missions that drive my creative journey, and these have changed multiple times throughout the course of my pages. Now, I think this particular point is what is driving me-that life changes and it is ok to change your goals and admissions. We all go through different seasons in our lives, and that is ok! Many people see other individuals on social media, and feel the need to match what they are doing and how they are living their lives, but in reality, that is not always attainable. We can have dreams and set goals, but wanting to live someone else’s life…it just isn’t realistic, nor should it be! We each have to create our own path and live out our own dreams in our own time. Reminding myself of this each and every day is what currently is helping me to create, or not create certain content. It has helped me to realize that our lives should not revolve around creating content, but rather living our life to the fullest should shine through the content we create instead. This can be a very difficult pill to swallow, especially if you are trying to make this a full time job, but it is so worth it when you understand it.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
As I shared earlier, I am nowhere near being considered a “big” influencer, and yet, I have been given many different opportunities to work with multiple big brand companies, collaborate with other influencers, and meet individuals who are on that larger scale and call them my acquaintances or friends. I believe I have been able to do this because I stay genuine on my page. I only share products that I have either used or have tried myself, I share my true colors, opinions and personality on my page, and have allowed myself to not be embarrassed of my goofiness, craziness, or dorkiness. We all have a silly, fun, wild side to us, and when we aren’t afraid to share that with the world, we become our most true selves.
