Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ariea Brim and A’til Williams N/A. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Ariea Brim and A’til Williams, thanks for joining us today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
Believe it or not, coming up with our business name was pretty easy! We got the idea to name our business “Luxe Brunches” due our LOVE of brunch time. We wanted our name to be a reflection of what we enjoy the most during the weekend, as well as how we feel, which is luxurious!

Ariea Brim and A’til Williams, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
We started Luxe Brunches last January, but we had the idea long before. Ariea had gotten engaged and the wedding was set for 2020, however, as we all know now COVID happened and cancelled her and Lucas’ big day! As everything shut down people became more secluded and stuck in the comfort of their own homes, and we were no different. Due to the types of work we were doing prior to COVID, we either had to stop working because our jobs closed or had our hours significantly cut back. With all this free time we began to brainstorm of different business ideas and believe it or not, we had multiple before we landed on Luxe Brunches.
We came up with the idea of Luxe Brunches because it was an opportunity for people to still do something fun but in a more intimate setting if they were still iffy about having events out in public. When we launched (right before Valentine’s Day) we visited every craft store you could imagine and even took a day trip to Charlotte to go to IKEA and pick up the table tops we now use for our picnic tables!
After buying our necessary inventory (rugs, floor pillows, blankets, tables, table decor) we had an impromptu photoshoot in Ariea & Lucas’ backyard so we could have promotional photos for Valentine’s Day. Much to our surprise, it worked! We had people wanting to surprise their significant other and booked set ups with us. At the time Ariea was heavily pregnant but we made it work and she was a true trooper during these set ups.
Although this is just the beginning for Luxe Brunches, we are so proud of how far we’ve come. From setting up couples picnics for Valentine’s Day to bring contacted to set up for video shoots and bridal parties, it’s safe to say we’ve expanded more than we anticipated.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source of new clients for Luxe Brunches is and will always be word of mouth! Having clients that experience our set ups and post/text/share photos and videos with their network fills us with happiness, because it shows us that they truly loved what we created for them.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
A lot of our clientele are people we have also gotten services from! Having a strong network of freelance workers and friends builds and incredible connection and gives us an opportunity to be exposed to other people within that clients network. These are people that we keep in touch with via social media or text and having that relationship with our clients has helped us tremendously, we would not be where we are now without our loyal clients!
