Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jermaine West. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Jermaine , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s jump right into how you came up with the idea?

It all started out as a joke on my 35th birthday saying it’s all about D’ME today. Friends and family started laughing and making fun of me. I kept saying it over and over and then I realized I got something. So I created my first shirt in 2019 with D’ME and eyes on it in the middle. I wasn’t sure what to call my brand at the time. When I began wearing it often times people would ask me if my shirt says D’OOME. I would say NO but I kept hearing it over and over. I fell in love with the idea ,so I was like this is it and the rest was history.

Jermaine , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I have my own clothing brand. I take a lot of pride being creative and coming up with creative ideas on what to put on my clothes. What makes me proud is seeing my customers satisfied. Another strong characteristics about myself I am big on customer service. I like to deliver things in a timely manner. My customers opinions matter. I have no problem with making my customers happy.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My goal is to be successful. I’m driven by the people who support and believe in me. This journey is hard but having a strong support system makes it easier.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

Designing is easy, but bringing it to life can be hard. I wish I learned how to cut and press in the beginning to cut cost. But you live and you learn and now I’m moving forward
