Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Aracely Gonzalez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Aracely, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

Being able to create empowered relationships with those around me really enlarged the way I view confidence & how I’ve managed to build that with not only women all around the world but men as well. A lot of times not only does a client look for a positive experience but an ear to listen or shoulder to cry on . Being that friend really allowed me to not only make them feel visually beautiful, but mentally as well. As someone that struggled with self confidence growing up I hope to continue to build that positive mindset & inspire others to do the same allowing them to do what they always dream of.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

For those that don’t personally know me my name is Aracely Gonzalez and I’m founder of Az Beauty by Cely where my goal is to create your dream makeup look for all your special occasions and make you feel as confident as you look . I have never always been the bubbly outgoing person you see today as I struggled with a lot of childhood trauma which caused me to hit a lot of obstacles when it came to relationship building and having confidence overall . Although there was bumps in the road, I always knew I had a passion for makeup. As I got to middle school I realized I was very fond of the colors and how therapeutic it naturally became. Soon after that I decided to do creative looks on myself to the point where people wanted me to attend their occassions to fulfill their makeup needs. It utterly made me bloom into the person I am today and that’s how Beauty by Cely was created .

How did you build your audience on social media?

I started from 0 just like every other artist out here. But what separates yourself is self motivation and the confidence you have to keep growing which will help you make it father than you’d expect I always make an effort for someone new to reach my media at least once everyday by posting on groups as well as sharing on platforms that get a range of new audiences such as TikTok and YouTube . My main advice I will give is never stop promoting your work because whether you have 0 likes or 100 likes people are always watching

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

I feel like if society would stop treating gatekeeping as a weapon we can turn it into an easy way to spread businesses around statewide . Sharing is such a powerful tool which allows access to another persons friends and family .Helping someone’s business by sharing a post not only shows tremendous support but allows strangers to get introduced to a business they never knew about ! A share is more than you might know.
