We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Gina Guglielmelli a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Gina , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

I believe that the ideas and visions we have, land in our mind for a reason. Now some are crazy and wild and the best ones are just that crazy and wild. I also believe that it’s up to us to see these wild and crazy visions through to life. There is a reason we get these ideas, and when we act on the idea is sets more in motion.

This vision of creating a luxury curated experience company came to me after I was on a Luxury Girls Trip! I also work in the Luxury Real Estate business so the need for what I am building, I knew was there.

The story starts before the extravagant Girls Trip…I had recently added an estate to the portfolio of Vacation Rentals our company manages in Hawaii. Long story long, I couldn’t find a company to execute the vision we had for concierge services we were seeking. Living on an island has its pros and cons and one of the cons is finding services that are reliable, execute on a high level, understand customer serve and all the things. We didn’t find a company that could execute this project.

Months later I was on a very special Luxury Girls Trip to Joshua Tree where I experienced a full curation of my experience from beginning to end. The steps that were taken before I arrived and the details that were prepared for my arrival. The trip was completely all inclusive and everything was taken care of. It was one of the most magical experiences. I loved how every thing felt catered for me, all of my desires, wants and needs were taken care of. This whole experience was fabulous and sparked in me a desire to create unforgettable experiences for others.

I love when things are thought out for me-this can be when it comes to little things in relationships or travel plans. I love making events in every day life and the life changing events special. I love thinking of what someone would want or how they envision the perfect day in ones mind. That is what has fulled this desire to create Celerity. Celerity is Hawaii’s premiere luxury concierge service company centered around transforming fleeting moments into everlasting experiences and events.

Creating memories for me with the people I love from a young age has always been a favorite of mine and I believe many people relate to this.

Any fun sales or marketing stories?

I believe in visualizations and networking with the people closest to you. My first client for Celerity was my dream client, A woman CEO who was nominated one of the worlds richest woman in her age group! This was my first client I booked for an event.

I had some personal connections to this person and shared my excitement of my business I was building with her, passion is felt. She is so supportive and wants people to win, that she booked my company for a personal event.

I also knew she was one of my dream clients, and I created a visual dream board and made her my avatar client.

It was a surreal experience!

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

I was born to shine and be resilience. That may sound very egotistical, but if you don’t believe in yourself, why should anyone else. I have been through some hard things as all humans have and I believe that the knowing I am responsible for my life and that I get to choose life is what keeps me going.

I have dealt with great loss, losing a sister and my first business partner to death has given me resilience. Resilience to choose myself and that this is the life, right here, right now, we are alive. What will we choose to do with our time?
