Alright, Terrell thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

I knew i didnt want to be regular and i knew with music i can be different while still being myself

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Terrell Dawson and my artist name is Rello_Dmv. Im a musical artist and entrepreneur that is doing things differently and efficiently. I got into music mainly because i was inspired to make my own something and music was that thing that I stumbled across and never really stopped working. I mostly make music but i also mix and master music from all types of artist and producers. They get quality sounding results and i get to practice my art. Im different when it comes to my style and approach to the music industry. I made my own style to make sure im not just thrown into a category of artists from the area or just another rapper. Im just glad i started and i want potential fans or followers to know that i wont stop the grind and that im down to collaborate with like minded artist and business owners like myself. Becoming famous isnt the goal for me im trying to be financially free.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?

I think people need to stop being scared to like artist that aren’t mainstream and on the radio. There are free ways to support artists and it helps in the long run to grow. A few ways to help artist for free are following them on social media and commenting/liking/interacting, Share a song or post about the artist, and lastly just talk about the artist and their art to people you think might like it.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

Becoming financially free doing something i love to do. Also becoming financially free will give me more time for family and perfecting my craft. Remember famous isnt the goal for me i just want to be financially free.
