We recently connected with Sada Whitaker and have shared our conversation below.

Sada, appreciate you joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

It takes commitment and positivity! I opened our academy doors during the COVID pandemic; I stayed committed to my vision! I had to stay positive if I wanted the academy be successful.

Sada, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

As a mother, I am nurturing and a giver! I have a passion to give back to the community and provide stellar educate to young children. I wanted to provide a safe and nurturing environment to support each child’s developmental growth. That’s when I prayed and brainstormed then developed Visionary Leaders Academy,LLC.

VLA is a high-end childcare academy in Memphis, TN. We offer a 5 star age appropriate curriculum which intel; learning Spanish, early literacy, and introduction to basic standard algorithm. We teach modules that allow scholars to incorporate throughout their daily lives.

It has always and forever be my top priority to give back to our future leaders and the community. For the love of early education development, VLA will continue to be a pillar in the community; and offer an exceptional opportunity for young scholars to excel and thrive in grade school!

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

I believe being authentic, honest, and sincere has help build VLA reputation. VLA core mission is to provide quality childcare and I can honestly say, we have held ourselves to that standard. Our reputation preceded us! Our parents of previous graduates recognized their scholars advancement in VLA Pre-Kindergarten program. I’m proud to say those same scholars have tested above the 85 percentile grade level in Kindergarten.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

It wasn’t very complicated, I used the tried and true method of saving. Once my vision of starting a childcare academy emerged; I immersed myself in saving and investing. Once I reached my goal I then put it all into my dream, so far so good!
