We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tobi Ojo. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tobi below.
Alright, Tobi thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
Consistency is KEY. A lot of people believe that once they start their business it will suddenly bloom, but this doesn’t happen for everyone. Through the ups and downs it’s vital to keep going no matter what. There will be days we’re you have 0 clients and make no money but you still have to post content.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am Tobi Ojo and owner of BELLA180. I use the name BELLA frequently because it means beautiful and essentially I want all my clients to feel beautiful. The 180 refers to body transformation from the services . The client starts with their body one way and does a 180 transformation. The noninvasive services we provide are laser lipo (uses a laser to remove fat from under the skin), lipo cavitation (uses highly focused sonic waves to break down fat cell walls in the treatment area, thereby liquifying the fat in the area), wood therapy, RF skin tightening , and vacuum therapy butt lifts (after a mini massage, two small suction cups are moved over the thigh and buttocks area, manipulating the tissue, then two larger suction cups are sealed over each side of the butt for approximately 30 minutes). The ultimate goal is to help allow men and women to feel as confident as possible in the skin they are living in for affordable costs. All services provided are noninvasive and non-painful. The time frame varies but most services do not take more than an hour at a time. The services provided are permanent, but an individual must stay consistent. I take pride in my business and hold all my clients at a high standard. I always provide deals and help out where I can. During Covid many businesses could no longer afford to stay open , but by the grace of God Bella180 remained opened. My clients are genuinely the best and I truly appreciate every single one of them. Bella180 is not just a business but it’s a place where you can come and openly be yourself.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Growing clientele at times can be frustrating , but it’s always beneficial in the long run. In todays society social media is the main ingredient. I’ve learned to constantly use hashtags , post interactive content, buy ads, and also engage with followers. Every chance I get I am always promoting my business, every where I go. For instance, if I’m getting my hair done I will share my business , website and Instagram page. If you don’t promote your brand or business nobody will.
We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
Square is a great app and allows you to communicate with clients . There’s options to send gift cards and thank you notes . I reach out via message at times just to check in on clients . We’ve also started loyalty cards and it gives the clients a chance to receive free services after the 5th appointment. I also host annual event and free goodies are given out just to thank my clients for their loyalty.
