We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Christine George a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Christine, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about the best boss, mentor, or leader you’ve ever worked with.

Working for a company that had invested in continuing education and training.

Christine, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My name is Christine George and I am a Chiropractor! I graduated from Southern California University. I became a chiropractor because of my love of dance. Learning about biomechanics and body movement plus being a dancer made my love of chiropractic seamless. I built my practice (The Chiro Concept) around the concept of customized care. For example, a first visit with my patient consists of a full history, orthopedic exams, neurological exams, and range of motion. Based on the above a treatment plan will be built. The patients follow up visits are detailed. The follow up visits would include: an adjustment, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular reeducation, sports taping and/or manual therapy. I am proud to be able to provide patients with customized care and to be in a position to spend time with each patient. I enjoy working with athletes, geriatric patients and mothers! I take pride in being able to help my patients experience relief of pain without the use of medication! I look forward to serving my community and am excited for what the future holds.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?

The desire and will to care for those around you. Chiropractic care is about helping people feel well and continue doing the things they love to do or have to do. From going to dance classes, continuing working or even playing with their grandkids!

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

In my case word Of mouth has been my most effective tool to grow my practice! when you treat others well they treat you well as well. Many of my patients who have been happy with their care would refer their family members and friends to me for care. That has been the biggest honor of my life. To have someone’s trust in that manner is huge.
