We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Denise Andreoli a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Denise, appreciate you joining us today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
There have been a lot of risk/leaps of faith in the past several years that I’ve taken . The biggest risk that I would say that I’ve taken which aligned me with my path/journey would be putting all of the fears , doubts & worries behind me while stepping into my business full time rather then part time back in 2018. This meant leaving behind a full time secure ,conventional job which was a “stable and secure “income at that time. This was especially hard for me because a year prior my parents had passed and it took me some time to get on my feet after that , however I knew if I wanted this to work that I needed to go all in and devote at least a year solely to my practice/business. Everything ended up aligning perfectly .
Denise, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Yes. I was born & raised in RI. Currently reside in VA. I was born a medium who is very intuitive. I’m a Medium who is clairvoyant, an Empath & Divine energy Healer. I was aware of my gifts & abilities but not fully conscious of them until I grew a bit older . The more I opened up to these abilities the more things started to make sense. When I was 13 my grandmother passed . I spend the day with her & took on everything she was going through both physically & emotional. Before I left her side I had the sense of knowing that I was saying good bye for good. After her passing my grandmother came to visit me in spirit & the whole experience was confusing . I sort of shut it down as it also frightened me some.
In my 20s my boyfriend at the time mom passed away & she also came to visit me.
It was soon after that visit that I started to remember child hood experiences however I still wasn’t ready to acknowledge or accept my abilities.
About 3 years later I was going through a rather difficult time in my life where I needed guidance. I was so lost & headed down the wrong path. That’s when I prayed & called upon Mother Mary, my grandmother & asked for guidance. That led me to call my local church & go sit with the priest.
He told me to sit in meditation ( rare for a priest to use that term for prayer ) & see my self through Mother Mary’s eyes.
I went home & did just that! I can’t explain it however that is when I opened back up & became both aware and conscious. I was led to the people that I needed ant the time to help me step into these abilities along the way. As I continued to step into my authentic self the more connected to them I became .
Now I totally own who I am & often receive much validation from the spirit world.
Some of my services include Medium -Intuitive Readings, Chakra Alignments , Energy Healing, Past Life Regressions , workshops & Guided Meditation.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Yes. Going back to the 1st question. It was extremely hard to trust the process even though I knew with all of my being that I was making the right choice.
As I mentioned at the time I had just got back on my feet with working a 60 hr job that I did not like. I took the position after my father had passed. I had put everything aside when he became ill which meant I had to stay with friends. So when everything started to fall in place & I had this sense of “ security “ it was hard to take a leap of faith & risk it all . I was tested & challenged especially when a year later covid hit. As hard as it was I stood extremely faithful & positive as I could during such a time of uncertainty. It some odd way I didn’t feel alone in that uncertainty because for once the whole world was also feeling it which helped me not feel so alone.
It’s wasn’t easy to have trust during those times however if I’ve learned anything it is that some how someway it all works out!

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
Always! I had to unlearn all of what I was taught from society & up bringing. I had to unlearn that because it’s unconventional doesn’t mean it’s not right.
I would say the hardest lesson I had to unlearn was survival mode . I had to unlearn that being busy all the time was a normal way to live and that it will get you where you need to be when it’s actually the opposite.
