Kisha , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Having her fair share of trauma and struggles, Kisha silently wrestled with her mental well being over the years. Like many other women, she suppressed her own emotions, was the unofficial “go to” person for everyone, but never prioritized taking care of her own mental well being. Her breaking point came with a severe mental setback March 2020, in which she documents the beginning in her Amazon Best Selling book, From Havoc to Healing: 30 Days of Reconditioning. Kisha became accountable for self, set out on an empowering mission to remove her outdated thinking methods, and recondition life as she knew it.

By prioritizing self, she also stepped up her support and guidance to others, but in a more mental healthy way. This shifting transformation, Kisha launched Upgraded MindsetZ as an official part time Mindset Coach and Mentor. In November 2020, she was surprisingly let go from her corporate job of almost 7 years. Walking in her transformational journey, she decided to walk away from corporate America and shift into full time entrepreneurship.

Upgraded MindsetZ, LLC has been making transformational shifts for women on a personal as well as beginner entrepreneurial level full time since November 2020. Her key strategies are crucial in helping to replace outdated thinking processes and methods preventing us from living the true life we desire. Her mind reconditioning tools have helped women struggling to find their true meaning in life, break away from the of DEFAULTING societal beliefs.

Her mission is to provide a safe space of non judgmental support and guidance to women of all ages to be confident enough to excel themselves on a personal, professional or entrepreneurial level.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?

PURPOSE. I believe that anything that you set yourself to do has to have purpose at the forefront. I’ve always carried a underlying purpose of helping others and being supportive, I just didn’t realize in my restricted thoughts processes of the past it would be in this capacity.

In stepping in your purpose, this helps increase the intention along the way! It also has the potential to help you become more open minded to opportunities as you step outside of your comfort zone to make things happen. How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

Our personal purpose in life needs to be established in order to get clear on where we want to go in our individual lives. I began my coaching journey as a life coach, helping women with personal goals, accountability and positive reinforcement.

My message of empowering growth was attracting women looking for their entrepreneurial purpose but didn’t know what that was. They were also unclear on what they wanted on a personal level, which was creating mental blocks for any kind of growth. Being I made my own shift leaving corporate America and embracing entrepreneurship, I was doing what so many truly wanted and that is to get clear on personal goals to amplify the professional goals. So, I decided to pour my personal growth strategies into others by pivoting into business coaching, with a key focus on gaining CLARITY to make sound, confident decisions for the better of our businesses. Its important to remember that our personal purpose in life needs to be CLEAR in order to focus on where we want to go as entrepreneurs, I have pivoted Upgraded MindsetZ into being that all around support to help women not only just start the process, but be confidently secure in Pivoting like me.
