Alright, Matt thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to start by getting your thoughts on what you are seeing as some the biggest trends emerging in your industry.

Agents relying more on social media to get customers.

Matt, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I’m Matt Davis of Matty D Photography. I run a real estate media business in the Portland, Oregon/Vancouver Washington area. I’ve been in business for just over a year now. I do everything related to marketing a property for sellers including photos, 3D tours, drone, video, floorplans, marketing kits, virtual staging, social media reels, etc. I solve the problem of helping sellers make their listings stand out on the MLS and sell faster by providing high-quality real estate media. What sets me apart is my ability to work with an agent to market a property just the way that they want it and building long lasting relationships with the agents that I work with. I’m most proud that I’ve been able to replace my full-time income just a year after starting this business. I want potential clients and followers to know that I’m easy to work with and I do everything within my power to get the job done with high quality and efficiency.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

Instagram. That’s how I built my entire business by reaching out to real estate agents and offering them discounts to work with them and providing top-notch service on that first shoot so that they continue to use me moving forward and refer me to other people.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

I think it’s been my personality. I pride myself on being extremely easy to work with and understanding. I also act as a consultant to a lot of the agents that I work with for suggestions on how to market a certain property. The quality of the work that I produce has also helped my agents sell listings faster.
