We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Nikeisha Jakes a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Nikeisha, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
To be successful takes grit, hard-work, and accountability. It takes failure but realizing that that failure or mistake was only a lesson or stepping stone along your journey. It takes doing the work when your feelings tell you otherwise. It takes accountability owning up to you short comings and implementing new systems and processes to prevent future errors.

Harmony Transaction Solutions is a full-service real estate transaction management company. We help Realtors by providing support with real estate transactions. We will handle all the details of your real estate transaction from contract to CLOSE to ensure a successful closing. I believe my background in real estate has helped me to navigate the complex details that each transaction entails. My drive to provide top tier customer service helps to connect and build strong rapport and long lasting relationships with my clients. I strive to assist my clients with reaching the next level in their business. We want you to know that we handle your transactions however we are not “transactional”. We build lasting relationships with our clients! We offer Transaction Coordination and Listing Coordination services. Our services allow our agents to leverage their time. Whether that time is used to gain more business or spend time with family, we ultimately help our agents “reclaim their time”
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I came in to this industry with little to no experience. Despite my experience I didn’t let that discourage me. I bought books, joined FB groups, took real estate courses. Basically while I was waiting on an opportunity I was working behind the scenes to ensure that I was prepared when the opportunity presented itself. We are continuously updating our systems and checklist to ensure that all i’s are dotted and t’s crossed to ensure critical deadlines and compliance requirements are met for our clients. Real Estate is an industry that is constantly changing. It’s imperative that we stay up to date and adjust to the changes.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
