We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Arshawna Warren a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Arshawna, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
At the heart of every great mission-driven company lies a compelling and singular reason for its existence. For the Christian Creator Network (CCN), that reason is clear: to connect churches, ministries, and believers in Christ worldwide through digital marketing solutions that will help spread the word of God with purpose and impact.
I founded CCN during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. It started as a simple dream to help churches with their social media presence. But it’s more than just a marketing agency. CCN is a calling that has grown into a mission to become the world’s biggest digital marketing network for Christian organizations and individuals.
The need to connect with other churches and ministers in the face of pandemic-related closures and isolation was crucial. My goal was to help churches better understand how to reach their goals, connect with younger and older audiences alike, and make a meaningful difference in the world.
As we have grown and evolved, I realized that our mission was more than just about providing marketing solutions. Our mission was to share the word of God with the world, one person at a time. We aim to fulfill a promise that “at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” according to Philippians 2: 9-11.
For CCN, the mission goes beyond numbers and profits. It is a calling to transform lives through the power of Christ while helping people work diligently in love, strength, and power. Through our mission, we are determined to make a difference and impact the world on a wider scale.
The story behind CCN is one of faith, hope, and a deep commitment to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. It serves as a testament to the power of purpose-driven leadership and the difference that a company can make in the world when it is driven by a compelling mission.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My journey as a businesswoman and content creator started when I was just a teenager. I was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was only 16 years old. The experience changed my life and made me realize the importance of taking care of my body and spreading awareness about the disease. That’s when I founded Be Pretty In Pink, a non-profit organization that teaches young women about breast cancer and how to lead healthy lives.
My work with Be Pretty In Pink allowed me to appear on the Steve Harvey Show, where I shared my story with millions of people. The experience was surreal, and it motivated me to continue making a difference in the world.
Aside from my philanthropic endeavors, I am also an artist. I enjoy singing, dancing, and painting. My creativity has been a big part of my life, and it has led me to explore content creation. Through my social media platforms, I share my art, my experiences, and my message of positivity to inspire others.
I am a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, a sisterhood that empowers women to be leaders in their communities. I also hold a degree in psychology from Baldwin Wallace University, and I aspire to help people with their mental health and happiness.
In all of my ventures, my goal is to make a positive impact on the world. I believe in the power of kindness, generosity, and empathy, and I hope to inspire others to do the same. For me, success is not just about achieving personal goals but about making a difference in the lives of others.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Growing up I was a child of a single mother, and it definitely had its challenges. I watched my mom work tirelessly to provide for us while being diagnosed with Breast Cancer herself. My mom made sure to try her best to give me the best childhood I could have. However, the absence of my father left a void in my life that was difficult to fill. I have fought my whole life to not become a stereotype and a product of an absentee father.
Despite these challenges, my faith in God never faltered. I relied on my relationship with Christ to give me the strength and resilience I needed to keep going. Through my struggles, I learned that resilience is not just about being tough and strong. It’s about having the courage to face adversity head-on, without compromising who you are or what you believe. It’s about finding the inner strength to persevere, even when things seem impossible. It’s about walking firmly in your purpose and doing what God has called you to do. Even when it looks bleak.
Today, I am proud to say that I am thankful for the challenges I faced, as they helped shape me into the person I am today. I am grateful for my faith, which gave me the courage to keep going when everything else seemed to be falling apart. And I am hopeful for the future, knowing that whatever obstacles come my way, I have the resilience to overcome them.
We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
Growing up, I always had this dream of becoming a Developmental Psychologist. However, after completing my education and starting my career, I realized that my passion was no longer aligned with my original dream. Instead, I found myself drawn towards the arts and craving a more creative outlet.
This is where Christian Creator Network (CCN) comes into play. Initially, it started as a hobby to earn some extra cash, but with time, I realized that this was my true calling. With my skills in social media, I began offering my services to various businesses, political figures, and personal brands. I helped them grow and connect, and it was then that I knew this was what I was meant to do.
One of my favorite projects was working with a political figure who was running for City Council. Although he didn’t win his election, our combined efforts garnered significant recognition for his brand, and he was able to connect with his community more deeply. It was a moment of pride for me, and it was the spark that ignited my success in design and social media marketing.
Today, I am proud to have worked as a marketing strategist for a corporate-level DEI firm, a Christian Production company, and several mental health professions. I also work with churches and ministries to develop their outreach strategies and help them grow in their community.
What I’ve learned from this experience is that God can take you out of your comfort zone and transform your mind, heart, and soul into something even better. So, take that leap of faith and believe in the path that He has chosen for you. Because as in my case, it could lead you to something extraordinary.
