Hi Martell, thanks for joining us today. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?

I aspire to create a lasting impact that will be remembered over time. It is my desire for my offspring to view my photographs and recognize that their dad initiated something unique and noteworthy. Moreover, I yearn for all fathers to acknowledge the significance of self-presentation in enhancing their confidence and outlook. When you feel good about yourself, you can excel as a spouse and parent.

My wish is for people to share wonderful recollections of the moments we shared and the joy we experienced. I aspire to be remembered through these stories and to continue to hold a place in their hearts. Additionally, I desire for them to pass along the meaningful discussions we engaged in to others..

My aspiration is to always be myself and love without conditions. I strive to never pass judgment on others and embrace each person for who they truly are.

Martell, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

In case any of the readers have not perused my earlier write-up, I am Martell Washington from DadFashion, a social media fashion influencer. The aim of my brand is to aid fathers in improving their dressing sense and becoming more at ease in their own skin. Additionally, I assist people in discovering their personal style by sharing my own fashion choices and offering styling advice. What distinguishes me from other influencers is my authenticity as a regular working individual, a devoted spouse, and a doting parent. Despite my hectic schedule, I love curating fashion content.

My proudest achievement is my determination to persevere, even when faced with overwhelming challenges. DadFashion was launched a year ago and it’s incredibly rewarding to see it grow beyond my expectations. I encourage everyone to pursue their dreams and stay committed, because anything is achievable with perseverance.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

When starting a brand, no one wants to work with you. I’ve sent thousands of emails and received no response or doors closed in my face. That never stopped me and only made me want it more, it gave me something to prove to myself. That I could do it.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Standing behind my word. My word is all I have and if I can’t stand behind my word then I have nothing.
