We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Andria Polo. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Andria below.
Andria, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
I have always taken it upon myself to move with intent! My purpose is greater than I could imagine I believe, I have been shown that many times and I am so grateful and honored to be able to have this vision and platform that so many people LOVE!
I apply my morals, creative ideas, all the skills I am equipped with and essentially I used all I have to Frame my business. I wanted to create a safe space for everyone to feel welcome.
I wanted my businesses to feel like home in a sense of how comfortable it is to order, all the way to bringing memories back from first bites to aesthetic set ups!
It is a never ending flow of imagination and everyday I can honestly say how exciting it is to do what I do.
Each day my motion changes based off of others needs, my new experiences and collaborative efforts between so many other amazing people. It is extremely hard work, but anything worth having always is.
Andria, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
What sets my business aside from many others is the variety of different methods that are all incorporated to the overall experience of boxofchawklets. In short, i feel like BARBIE with all of her occupations hahah
I am a custom treat maker, chocolatier, cottage baker, im also a mom (which Comes along with many other titles) wife, city girl and country girl all in one!
As apart of my business I am also a party planner, artist, director and builder of sorts, one of my absolute favorite things to incorporate in my business is photography! I LOVE content, shooting it, directing the plan, BtS, bringing my whole vision to life is so accomplishing and fulfilling!
My goal is to show there is no one way to do something, there is no RIGHT way, I love doing it the B.O.C way!
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
My reputation in my city has been such an amazing beautiful experience. I feel so honored when people speak highly of me, especially when I’m not in the room.
My favorite is when I am there and some do not know who I am and they are tasting something, or experiencing something I offer and their reaction is absolutely priceless, in a GOOD way! Lol
Those are the best times because it shows how authentic their reaction is! Sometimes I question if the opinions of my business are biased because of the love my community has but honestly, I believe each and every one of them and no longer doubt myself. I especially love my clients that can give me constructive criticism, I appreciate that honesy always.
My reputation can be perceived in which ever way the people place that,
I am not at all perfect in anyway, I love that people can support me in all of my flaws.
when I think good reputation I think that it means your word is worth something, the hunger and humbleness is appreciated and reciprocated in endless ways and forms, and you touch others in ways you didn’t know and without ever thinking about needing something in return.
I will say I Am me in full 100% of the time, every interaction with every single individual has been and always will be my most genuine authentic self. I also don’t think there’s one major thing that’s helped, it’s a mix between so many good traits and characteristics I own and for that I am forever blessed. I honestly think majority of people are attracted to me and my message and the relationships I’ve formed in this community are truly life changing, I love all of my people and I’ll forever incorporate
The community into my motion because I couldn’t do this without their support !!!!
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
My life has had many moments of times I’ve failed. Through trial and effort I found that I lacked understanding in my strength ! I’m a big believer in sometimes things just aren’t meant to be, not in that time or sometimes never but I think perseverance has gotten me so far in life with many tragic events.
I never want to be defined as living a life of grief for all that’s lost.
I always have envisioned succeeding in the strength of that loss. I believe anyone can fumble but how you pick back up always depends on the person and not so much the circumstance.
