Our community is fortunate to have so many brilliant, insightful entrepreneurs and creatives and so many of them have front row, ground level seats that allow them to see emerging trends before the so-called experts, industry leaders, etc. We wanted to create a space to connect members of our community where they could share these insights on trends and opportunities they are seeing.

One significant trend that has become increasingly prevalent is the shift in focus from producing meaningful and memorable content to generating rapid, and often more cost-effective, content. This transition is driven by the need for businesses to maintain a constant online presence, fueled by the relentless pace of social media platforms. Read more>>

1. Celebrity driven alcohol brands – you see it all over tequila especially (the rock, george clooney), Ryan Reynolds with Gin and now Nelly with Moonshine. But there are a ton out there and it is definitely making it harder for smaller family brands or craft brands like us when they have the ability to grow so fast behind their celebrity status. But there is hope we have a similar story to Skrewball that has blown up in the past couple years. Read more>>

I’m a photographer, especially street photography lover. Nowadays there is a trend (I can say a problem). It’s AI image. Last few years, AI generator(mid journey etc) is rapidly evolving and getting better and better. It’s enough to pretend as real photography. As you may already know, the media said AI generated photo won an award in one of the biggest photography competition. Read more>>

We are seeing a lot of couples choosing to do a first look before the ceremony. A first look at a wedding is an intimate moment where the couple see each other before the ceremony usually getting photos and/or video of the moment. We love it when couples choose this as they can spend more time on the day together and if they want they can get family photos done before the ceremony so they can spend their cocktail hour with the guests instead of doing photos. The best part of this trend is the couple gets to spend more time together on the day of the wedding and they can spend more time with guests. Read more>>

Homeowners and business owners are aware of the increasing costs associated with insurance premiums and the lack of availability of property insurance across the state of Florida. However, as a lawyer dedicated to representing policyholders in disputes with their insurance carriers, the environment has become increasingly hostile for Florida’s policyholders. Recently, our office helped a client secure $250,000.00 in unpaid insurance benefits after years of litigation and completing a four-day jury trial. Read more>>

As a writer and an artist, I have to say the biggest trend I am seeing, for better or worse, is the use of A.I. We’ve all seen those hyper-realistic looking images (albeit with maybe a few extra fingers) — maybe of a little girl holding a baby bird or something sweet. They evoke a strong emotion. Then we find out, it was created with A.I. It somehow feels like we’ve been cheated; those tears were tricked from us in a way. Read more>>

In my opinion, a vast majority of companies still don’t feel like creating content be it video or written, is a suitable marketing strategy. I see an emerging trend that is in an early adoption phase. That is the rise of the creator economy. Historically, advertising was linear in the sense of a message being crafted by a company and distributed to the masses, these blasting the same message of what the company wanted you to think, hear and do. This has all shifted. Today, buyers are curious and want to know the intricacies of a product or service before they buy. Read more>>

Not only in Photography but maybe in all professions, the two words that now have everybody nervous -or excited- are Artificial Intelligence. But maybe in my specific field, photography, the people or the professionals are more worried and disoriented than in other professions. Evidently, there are going to be a lot of changes, actually, happening right now, but from my point of view, nothing is going to disappear or is going to be eliminated, but is going to change, and is going to change a lot. In the ever-evolving world of graphic design, there are several trends that have been shaping the industry lately. Well, In the industries I work in (fashion, beauty and food & drink) I have managed to have all natural, organic and vegan ingredients and materials used in my products without fillers and additives. Some of the biggest trends and challenges in the food industry are finding more regenerative agricultural solutions using innovative technology that genuinely supports the next generation of farmers. Environmental concerns due to the effects of food manufacturing have led to an upswing in vegan products and other non-meat alternatives, which reduce our carbon footprints. Read more>>

The biggest trend in my industry is the art of imitation and reproduction. Now a days being original seems to be taboo and everyone is copying off of everyone. Honestly I get it but I feel it’s time for some newness. Don’t get me wrong some of my favorite shows bit off of older shows. A great example is The Sammy Davis Jr show which led to the Flip Wilson show, The Richard Pryor show, The Chris Rick show even the Chapelle show and key and Peele. Read more>>

For the past couple of months, I’ve been reading about ChatGPT and how AI-powered programs will revolutionize the content marketing and copywriting industries. Am I worried? No, not at all. Programs like ChatGPT are useful for getting the ball rolling on very basic content. But when you’re working on something high-level like a white paper or educational article, ChatGPT just does not have the sophistication to explore nuanced and complicated concepts. An artificial intelligence platform is not going to replace subject matter experts. Read more>>

My work is in Human Resources, and I’ve primarily worked in hospitality. The trend I’ve noticed post-COVID is the downsizing of the Human Resources departments in many industries. Hospitality was hit hard, for a long time and if a hotel was able to stay open, they downsized every area out of necessity. I left the industry in July 2020 for this exact reason. Read more>>

I think Covid has influenced trends immensely in retail, especially local retail/business. The pandemic pushed people into online shopping for their staples more often. Yet with locally owned retail, people are craving that “in person/find something special” moment with human interaction. In addition, customers are more apt to spend money locally these days because they saw how not doing that really changes the landscapes of their cities and towns. Read more>>
