We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Savannah Dudzik a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Savannah, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
Purpose is something we all yearn for, whether we are aware of it or not. From the time we are children, we dream about what we are going to be when we grow up. We look up to adults who have seemingly fulfilling lives and seek to emulate their life journey. We ask our parents about their childhood and young adult years and how they came to be where they are today.
For me, my path was always very clear-cut: from the time I was a child, I wanted to be a mother, and from the time I was in middle school, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher in some capacity. As I journeyed through high school, I took elementary education classes and eventually ended up interning at an elementary school.
Once I started community college, I knew that teaching was what I was going to pursue. I was positive that this was my path in life, and nothing was going to stop me from achieving that goal. The more I pursued this goal, however, the more I felt that something was missing. In high school, I was very involved with pro-life groups in my community.
By “very” involved, I mean that I helped with or attended an event maybe once a month, if that. In college, I helped start a Students for Life group on campus. I would talk to anyone who would listen about this passion I had for helping women. I would talk to women on campus and at my church about how important it is for us to stand up for our rights. I even spoke at some smaller events in my community.
My parents were very involved in the pro-life group at my church, so from a young age I was immersed in how important it was to value life. However, looking back, it was all about “protecting the baby” it was all about the baby’s life. Theoretically, this is a completely valid reason to be pro-life. Obviously, we are trying to save the lives of these babies!
However, the older I got, the more of a personal aspect it had for me. These women getting abortions are women my age. These women are good people who often live average lives. People who are scared to death of such a drastic change occurring in their lives.
These people may have a very good reputation at their local church. They may be the head of a students leader group on campus. Having a baby would ruin all of this. Having a baby would completely wreck their reputation… or so they think.
I soon made my way into the pro-life rhelm in a more professional sphere: being hired on by Illinois Right to Life as an intern in communications. Later that year, I applied to be a volunteer pregnancy counselor at Let them Live.
Needless to say, this direct contact with women: the ability to help people who are so desperately in need of options, and the relationships I formed in both of these roles, made me even more sure of my decision to pursue a career in the pro-life field.
The more I became involved in this work, the more I knew I couldn’t only do this part-time. At the time I started my internship with Illinois Right to Life, I was still in college. After completing my Associates Degree and being promoted to full-time with Illinois Right to Life, I decided that I would continue to work for Illinois Right to Life and also pregnancy counselor for Let them Live. Fast forward 2+ years, I’m working for a Pro-Life Fashion brand, have a podcast, and work in Marketing for Live Action.
When a person sees an evil in the world, an evil that directly impacts them, an evil that is so prominent and harmful to all of society, one has an obligation to do all she can about it.
One-third of my generation has been aborted due to abortion. 73% of abortions occur due to a financial crisis the mother is experienced. These are entirely preventable if we do our part, and the women and children we help get back on their feet will forever have a better life because someone chose to give of their time and not sit back and watch the discrimination of the weak, powerless, and manipulated.
“Whoever saves one life, saves the world entire.” This is one of Emily Berning’s (founder of Let them Live) favorite quotes, from the famous movie Schindler’s List.
My passion to be a mother is directed to helping these women fufill their motherly calling. My passion to be a teacher is directed to teaching young girls that they have countless options which will allow them to keep their baby.
Everyone has a passion, everyone has a calling, and everyone has talents unique to themselves.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Hi, I’m Sav! Currently, I reside in Clearwater, Florida and work for Live Action in marketing. I also write for Culture of Life Fashion- a pro-life fashion company- have a website and newsletter- savspeakslife.com- and host a podcast, Classy Chicks Podcast.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
In my particular field, being a “creative” involves researching and executing the best ways to reach people all across America regarding the most important issue currently in our culture: the right to life. It’s incredibly rewarding because every word that we use wisely could result in one or a dozen or even hundreds of lives saved. There’s absolutely nothing more powerful than that.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
For the first time in over 50 years, we will be celebrating the overturning of Roe v. Wade in a little less than a month! This celebration is incredibly promising as we now truly have the ability to protect life in so many of our states. This year holds the hope that each of our 50 states will choose to live in a culture of life.
If living through a global pandemic has taught us anything, it should be that we must never take life for granted. Every single life matters – no matter how small! Here are some of my personal goals…
1. Only support brands that protect life and further family values: We’ve seen companies come out so far as to pay for employees’ abortions, travel costs, and hotels, and as brands and companies are becoming more and more staunch about supporting a culture of death, we must have laser-vision about supporting a culture of life. Make that a goal this new year- to find a pro-life alternative to every home essential item you regularly purchase!
2. Share the message of spreading a culture of life with one person each month: Although we hope it’s more often than that, even if you share the message of spreading a culture of life with one person this month, that person can spread the message with others they know, and you will be creating a snowball effect! You never know the good that one positive word, one impactful statement about human rights can do.
3. Pray for a return to a Culture of Life in the USA daily: We must work for a culture of life, but the most important thing we can do is pray. Pray to God that our country leaders, officials, and lay people return to the Lord, because only then will we be able to have a truly peaceful country and world.
4. Live an authentic Biblical life for Christ, resisting the pop-culture and temptations the world is offering: Sometimes it’s easy to preach about living a certain way, but it’s 10 times harder to actually put that into practice. If practicing what you preach has been a struggle for you in the past, let this new year be the time you strive to live a genuine life. None of us are perfect, and we all fall, but if we truly strive to live an authentic, Biblical life, God will be with us to guide us along the way.
5. Share the message of the Pro-Life Movement virtually: Every day, our world becomes more and more digital. While there are pros and cons to this, it’s an undeniable reality that we must take and use in a healthy way. Consider sharing a post from Culture of Life Fashion on your Instagram story, or post a picture of you wearing the “1972” necklace and see what kinds of comments you get. “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.” This has never been more true. Stand for something – both in person and online! 2023: a year of hope, beauty, and love of life! Let’s come together around these resolutions and truly make this year the best we’ve ever seen – both in the Pro-Life Movement and the Christian community at large.
Ultimately, my goal is to end abortion in America and across the world. This seems incredibly large- after all, there are more than 2,000 human beings being killed in America alone each day. But the fact that this is so enormous- such a terrible genocide- is why it is so urgent and why I feel that it is my calling in life to help put an end to it by changing hearts and minds.
