Alright, Lacey thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about how you got your first non-friend, non-family client. Paint the picture for us so we can feel the same excitement you felt on that day.

I actually got my first client from an inquiry on Instagram! I was fresh out of makeup school and still building my presence on social media. I never expected to reach clients in my early stage of being on Instagram. The power of marketing on social media is truly an amazing tool for artists. I remember when I first received the DM on Instagram asking if I was available and being so excited! I was finally going to be able to use my skills to make someone’s day and couldn’t wait. I remember being so nervous going in to the appointment but little did I know this client would turn in to a long time returning client every year for the past four years!

I’m Lacey A Makeup Artist and Hairstylist dedicated to bringing you high quality, self empowering looks all to your front door.

One thing I often get asked is
“How did you get started doing hair and makeup?”

For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for enhancing confidence through makeup. Not only for myself but for others as well. Seeing a smile or tear on a clients face after highlighting their beauty is the most rewarding feeling!

After graduating the L Makeup Institute of Las Vegas Nevada In 2018 I started my career as a Certified Makeup Artist. Along the way I realized I also have a passion for styling beautiful hair. And now here we are!

Whether you are here in Las Vegas Nevada or need me to travel to where you are, I’ve got you! I will bring you advanced techniques, professionalism and sanitary work.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding aspect of being an artist for me is showing others the beauty of life. I believe that artists and creatives have a duty to share their abilities with the world. By sharing our creative talents with others we open their eyes to new ideas, new emotions, new beliefs and things that they wouldn’t have thought or felt without seeing our work. To be able to make such an impactful difference in someone’s life is definitely the most rewarding part of being an artist.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

The best source of new clients for me has been working with agencies. The agencies I work for advertise mobile hair and makeup services that allow clients in my area to find me. It can be overwhelming for a client to find a hair and makeup artist they can trust so by booking through a beauty agency they have the piece of mind knowing that the agency has done all the hard work for them. I have had so many clients and have gained so many amazing opportunities by working with agencies. It’s also a great way for me to advertise my work and get my name out there!
