Hi Kennedy, thanks for joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Small businesses were immensely affected by COVID-19, as were recent college graduates and undergraduate students when trying to find jobs and internships in their field. When everything in society went digital, I recognized an opportunity for businesses to capitalize on social media and collaborating with influential figured in their niche. As I too was a recent graduate who was struggling to find employment in my field and recognizing the gap in the market for agencies servicing small businesses, I decided to launch The Azure Agency in efforts to help small businesses grow through the power of digital marketing. In addition, The Azure Agency would serve as a resource for recent college graduates as a means of gaining knowledge and hands on experience in the Public Relations industry. With personalized approaches to all services, The Azure Agency aims to help small businesses reach their full potential by utilizing best practices in public relations, social media and influencer marketing.

Kennedy, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Kennedy and I am the Owner and Founder of The Azure Agency, a full-service, boutique PR and digital marketing agency specializing in securing third-party credible content and social media services. Our company works in two divisions; talent and brands. Half of our business is tailored towards managing creators and assisting them with leveraging their content and following, while the other half is brand focused, assisting them with social campaigns, social media management, content creation, advertising, and more!
We pride ourselves in our ability to customize and curate our services to whatever best suits our clients. Our team works tirelessly to provide the highest-quality services to our clients.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
Managing a team can be very tricky, especially a remote one. Our team consists of ten talented and experienced women, who live all across the country, so fostering high morale and a sense of collaboration is important. We will do team bonding exercises over Zoom, and always dedicate time to catch up on what is going on in our personal lives. A sense of friendship is necessary when collaborating and working closely, so it is very important to us that work does not always feel like work. I love being able to chat with our team about their worries, passions, and curiosities outside of business.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
Although it is uncommon, the majority of our clients communicate with us through text (and email). Our clients know that our doors are always open and having direct contact with us gives them a sense of comfort and support. We become friends with our clients – we experience and discuss so much more than business. I believe that it is important to get to know who you work with; it is how we foster such amazing, long-term relationships with our clients and makes them confident in recommending us to others.
