We recently connected with Aaron Adams and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Aaron, thanks for joining us today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.

To be quite honest, my experience with creating content just comes from years of uploading to Facebook and Instagram in my free time. Which is basically no different than anyone else. However, I have remained consistent in how active I stay on social media, how often I post, and the type of content I post. I’ve been creating content on Instagram and Facebook since 2017 and it has gotten me through some dark times in my life. It has always been an outlet for me to feel beautiful and seen. If I could go back in time, I would encourage my younger self to take it seriously.

Hey guys! Thanks for taking the time to read a little about me and what I love doing.

My name is Aaron, I’m 28 and I’m from Greenville, NC. Like many others, my love for social media developed in high school, and it was just about socializing and taking pictures with friends. In 2017 I started traveling locally on my own to do mini photoshoots of myself by myself with just my phone and a tripod and ever since then, I haven’t stopped. I create content on Instagram and Facebook specific to lifestyle, men’s style, and modeling. I would describe my style as minimal, urban, and chic.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

Over the years I have had an extremely hard time increasing the engagement and audience on my social media accounts. Despite the lack of engagement needed to grow my personal brand and become a full-time content creator, I continue to upload and try.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

Absolutely, I want to bring more representation to men’s fashion, beauty, and style.
