We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Siddhant Vig. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Siddhant below.
Siddhant, appreciate you joining us today. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
My name is Siddhant Vig and I work as a freelance film producer based out of Los Angeles. I graduated towards the end of last year from the New York Film Academy with my Masters in Film Production. I’m roughly two years old in the city of Angels but if it wasn’t for or because of my parents then I do not have the slightest of clue as to where would I end up in life. Both my parents come from well educated backgrounds which allows them to always have a broader perspective towards life. The industry that I’ve chosen comes with a lot of irregularities and disbelief at times but parents are my one and only source of encouragement and positivity when times get tough or I am facing a situation of turmoil. My mother is the first person I always turn to no matter what the situation and I just believe I am thoroughly blessed to have been born in the family that I was.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Apoorv Arora is the CEO and senior Producer at AAF. We at AAF, have an amazing team of writers, directors, producers, cinematographers, MUA’s and so on and so forth. We as producers provide both, creative producing as well as line production services and to name a few of them would be: – Budgeting, Scheduling, Helping with the crew, finding locations , permits, contracts , insurances and all legalities for a film production to be attained. As a producer, I am most proud about the fact that I believe in Quality over Quantity or Quality over Deadlines to be more specific.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Being able to bring stories to life and have an influence on people’s thoughts and emotions is for me the most fulfilling part of being creative. Knowing that the end result has the ability to inspire, amuse, or even spark significant conversations, it gives me a great deal of satisfaction to watch a vision come to life from a concept to a finished film. Every project is a fresh and interesting challenge for me because of the opportunity to work with gifted artists and experts in the field.
Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
A number of resources have had a big effect on my management and entrepreneurial thinking. Here are a handful that will always stick with me: “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki. This book has changed the way I think about money, investments, and the process of building wealth by emphasizing the value of both financial literacy and an entrepreneurial attitude. “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck ” by Mark Manson’, : My understanding of the importance of concentrating on the things that really matter and letting go of the unimportant worries that can get in the way of long-term objectives and personal development has improved thanks to this book. I routinely watch TED Talks to get knowledge from business visionaries, experts in their fields, and entrepreneurs who offer guidance on management, innovation, and creativity. These resources have been crucial in forming the way I approach management and entrepreneurship, giving me a solid basis for successful leadership and well-informed decision-making in the field of filmmaking.
