Keegan, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
On March 8 we released our first studio album titled Road to Nowhere. It took us a very long time to pick out and record these songs that we feel represented us.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Keegan Carroll-Corwell and I am the lead singer of The Highway Boys. I started this band with my good friend and Guitar player Jay Clinger last year. Since starting the band we have released two projects our debut E.P. Tailgater Tales which has eclipsed over 150k all time streams and our debut album Road to Nowhere that came out at the start of May. We’ve opened for countless acts like Hailey Whitters and conner smith.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is being able to play for our friends, family, and fans as well as being able to engage with the people that our music makes an impact on
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Our goal is to make impactful music for people who can relate to the stories we tell. We want to spread our sound to as many people as possible and share our stories.
