Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rachel Chukwu . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Rachel, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about how you got your first non-friend, non-family client. Paint the picture for us so we can feel the same excitement you felt on that day.
After I published my first book on Amazon, I took out time to make series of post everyday in several groups and also short stories on my Facebook timeline. The day he saw some of the post I made on all those groups, he went through my timeline and was captivated with the short stories I posted there. He sent a friend request and when I accepted, the first question was, will you write my book? I will pay you. And that’s it.
Rachel, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m a law student but I started writing at a very young age. When I got the first person who texted me up and asked me to write him a book, it was then I discovered that I could actually earn from writing.
I breath life into people’s stories. I’m proud that I have been able to make so many people happy with my writings cause it relates to the different happenings of life.
I write because it’s a world I can control and it’s something that keeps me sane.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Always post reviews of your old clients on your social media pages.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Yes. I feel like people haven’t talked about the main story that is affecting us all.
