Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Suki Eleuterio. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Suki, thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
When I first started my business six years ago I was so scared to hire a coach. It was such a risk. I kept asking myself, “How can I justify it? There’s not even much money coming in. A few clients here and there. How can I spend that money?”
The truth was I was all over the place with my business. I was overwhelmed, overworked, and underpaid. I felt unnoticed, unheard and undesirable. How could I get myself out of this rut?
Then one day I took a risk and said, “you know what? I know I really need this support! I desire it! And I give so much to everyone else. I’m a people pleaser, I’m a mom, I’m a wife, I’m a business owner. At what point do I just stop and take some energy back for me?”
So I said yes and I took a risk. I called a coach I had worked with many years ago and she said she had been waiting for me. Immediately I saw the results: more clients, more money coming in, more opportunities, more self confidence, more direction and clarity and more inner happiness. I felt completely supported!
By saying yes to a coach, I shifted into claiming my sovereignty. All of the MORE came because energetically I said YES. I said I desired something, I was worth it, that I wanted more not less, that I was badass. And the Universe responded.
As I reflect on taking this risk I am so grateful for all the opportunities that I have had to BOTH be coached (receiving) and provide coaching (giving). Because it’s within these divine balances that we experience life. If you have RESTRICTED yourself from coaching, from reaching out, from accepting support, from receiving not just giving, I invite you to try something new. To push yourself out of comfort zones. Say YES to MORE. You deserve it.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Creativity is my super power and I am here to help people live a life of passion, abundance and ease. I do this by using specific tools that have assisted me in my creative journey along the way: embodiment, spiritual rituals, goddess worship, and yoga.
In case you don’t know me my name is Suki Eleuterio or “Sookton” and I am a spiritual coach and creativity mentor.
Over the years I have found various avenues of self expression including writing (my work has been published in the Huffington Post, MindBodyGreen and other publications), creating visionary online programs, teaching high-vibrational courses, speaking on massive stages, creating communities like Found My Light and Lightworkers Rise Up, and much more.
As a coach I like to integrate my spiritual teaching with my practical earthly teaching. So all coaching comes from my soul and I connect with my Angels, Ancestors, Goddesses and Spirit Guides to channel messages to you. I have received training in Yoga, Ayurveda, Reiki, Shamanism and the Munay-Ki, and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Often my clients are successful, kick ass entrepreneurs but they come to me when they are exhausted. They might be feeling burned out, stressed, and unmotivated. On the outside things might look peachy – after all, these are the perfectionist, the one that everyone else looks up to, the driven, ambitious ones – but on the inside they’ve been feeling empty and cold.
My prescription is FUN, PLAY, DANCE, EXPRESS. It may seem lighthearted but this is all part of the deep, inner healing. The release of the old to invite the new. I do this through personalized care and on-going coaching or in-person VIP{ days and retreats to luxurious and fabulous locations.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
I believe new clients come from one solid thing: building trust.
In 2020 to 2021 when the world went a little crazy because we were thrust into the middle of a pandemic, my business boomed and sales soared all because of one new social media platform: Clubhouse.
Clubhouse is a social audio platform that started a revolution: giving people a platform to speak about whatever they like for as long as they like.
I jumped on the Clubhouse bandwagon and began hosting rooms every day. Quickly I built a large following but something even stranger happened: I started attracting clients.
Because people could hear my voice, follow me and really listen to what I was talking about, it took away the need for long discovery calls or waiting on my mailing list before you purchase any of my coaching products.
People would listen, chat with me and sign up.
To this day, my podcast, videos, Clubhouse and live-streams are the top places for new client attraction.
Any advice for managing a team?
I grew my business in 2021 and hired a team. One of the best parts about having a team is the connection and opportunity for everyone to contribute and share. My weekly meetings were not just meetings but opportunities to check in and create. I pride myself on being a conscious leader so meeting were not just focusing on work but focusing on the health and vitality of each player involved. I believe there is a big difference between a “boss” and a “leader,” and when I step into a role of leader, I like to make sure my tribe is well-fed, emotionally, spiritually and physically.
