We recently connected with Patty Kamson and have shared our conversation below.
Patty, appreciate you joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I’ve been an Intuitive Astrologer and practitioner of Energetic Healing for over 2 decades. and one of the most powerful tools we can use to help us tap into our purest expression are crystals.
Throughout my own self-discovery journey, I have personally experienced the healing power of crystals. And nothing brought the magic of crystal more to light than the start of the pandemic.
During quarantine, I didn’t have all the normal distractions and things to do and people to see. I was separated from practically everyone but I was surrounded by my crystals and their incredible power, vibrations, and energy. the more time I spent with them, the more I felt my energy change. I felt like I was being led closer to my purpose.
I began taking pictures of my crystals and arranging them the same way I’ve always loved to arrange flowers for my home or for family and friends,. I was drawn to the healing energy from the crystals and felt such a strong connection that I began creating even more beautiful Crystal Energy Arrangements and placed them in Selenite Crystal bowls. A gentle but powerful crystal meant to help purify, cleanse, and create positive energy for the entire arrangement, while keeping them charged at their best frequency.
I posted the pictures of my Crystal Energy Arrangements on social media and by word of mouth I started getting orders, I then created a website, and then started doing Instagram Live shows selling my crystals. And the rest is history.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I was always a very intuitive child. I would just feel things and not understand how to make the connections. As I got older things would just come to me out of no where. I was shown things that pertained to my relationships, friends, and family. I felt like I had no control over it. I’m a naturally skeptical person and I felt like I needed information to validate the insights I was being shown. First, I went to an Energetic Medicine school which led me to dive deeper into Astrology. Astrology is based on tangible planets, mathematical facts, and the cycles and patterns of those planets. I took to it like a duck to water. I absorbed the energy so quickly. It became my other language. To this day, I will probably remember your Sun sign before I remember your name!
I then began going to international astrology conferences and met and studied with amazing professional astrologers that were the authors of all the astrology books I had on my book shelves, such as Robert Hand, Rick Levine, Bernadette Brady, Noel Ty, and Alen Oken to name a few.
I am a graduate of Clearsight, a school for Energetic Medicine and Intuitive Healing. I a member of the International Society of Astrological Research (ISAR), National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR), and Organization for Professional Astrologers (OPA). From ISAR, I’ve received a certificate in Astrological Counseling and an Ethics Certificate.
I writes astrology forecasts, I have a private Astrology practice with an international clientele, and I curate and sell crystals to help with healing the mind and Spirit. My clients include everyone from celebrities, attorneys, doctors, and successful entrepreneurs to college students, and everyday folks who consult with me when they need guidance in love, career, spiritual matters, and family dynamics.
I am proud mother of 3 grown children and I’m happily committed in a Loving relationship. I have a passion for Crystals and Astrology and love to travel, cook, and enjoy time with family and friends.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
The wonderful thing about starting my crystal business is that I already had a good reputation as an Intuitive Astrologer and I was already in the genre of spiritual work. It was a natural inclusion to my business. So including crystals in my business was not a stretch. I was a massage therapist in the early 2000’s and used crystals as part of my healing sessions. So, for me it’s been a full circle moment. And the trust I’ve already established with my clients allows for my growth with my Crystal Energy Arrangement business.
Have you ever had to pivot?
In 2011 when the financial crisis was at height, I had to pivot very quickly. 2 of my kids were had graduated college and one at home in high school. My business was considered a luxury and I had to figure out my next move. To make a long story short, I decided to sell my home and move to Sacramento where the cost of living was considerably cheaper. It took about a year for it to happen but it was the best decision. I was able to purchase another home, rebuild my business, and have a better work/ life balance.
