Dore’, appreciate you joining us today. Do you think folks should manage their own social media or hire a professional? What do you do?
I manage my own social media accounts. I consistently post engaging content that resonates with my audience and reflects my brand. I ensure that I share industry-related topics at least once every few days. A balance of personal topics is also very important for a realtor, as to ensure that clients receive a clear idea of who they are hiring as their agent. Professionalism is imperative as social media provides a window into the character of your business. I chose to manage my own social media account for various reasons, including cost-savings and generational know-how. I have seen my followers grow throughout the months of managing my online presence. Managing my own social media accounts also provides great networking opportunities with other realtors. My advice to other realtors who plan to manage their own social media as a marketing tool is to educate the public (i.e., potential clients) on the latest market updates and to answer frequently asked questions. Doing so demonstrates your experience and ability.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
At an early age, I began competing in pageants where I was trained on etiquette, public speaking, and community service. I was invited to be a contestant in the Miss U.S. World pageant, which opened the door for a lucrative modeling career. Through my experience as a Miss U.S. World contestant, I received a scholarship to model with top photographers. This provided me with opportunities to be featured on fashion magazine covers, including Esquire, Maxim and FHM. My modeling experience helped me to establish a fairly significant online presence, which I then leveraged to advance my career.
Throughout my entire modeling career, I always had interest in the real estate industry. Having grown up in a family of real estate investors, my path into real estate was only natural. Years of seeing and listening to my family negotiate, structure, and close deals, as well as observing their ethics and stellar market knowledge, set me not only on a real estate path, but on a path to doing things “right” and at the highest level for my clients.
After earning my Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, I obtained my California real estate license. I genuinely love everything about the industry and to help people achieve their goals and dreams. I bring to the table a fresh and passionate outlook that others may lack. I am extremely proud to represent my current brokerage. Moreover, I take pride in my work with first-time home buyers, which brings me joy because I take part in such an enormous milestone.
I provide my clients with expert knowledge required to make the best decisions for themselves when buying or selling a home. I have worked in both commercial and residential real estate across the San Francisco Bay Area, which gives me a unique perspective and the expertise to offer an educated assessment of current market trends. As a seasoned negotiator and advocate for my clients, I go above and beyond to support my clients in what may be the biggest financial decision of their lives.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy in growing my clientele has been working open houses and networking through family, friends, and social media.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I keep in touch with clients by mailing informational magazines that include market trends, investment tips, and interior design advice (and also friendly cooking recipes). I also provide my clients with the option for ongoing email updates with prospective properties as they hit the market.
