Margie, appreciate you joining us today. Are you happier as a business owner? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job?

Owning your own business is a blessing within itself. Being able to walk and work in your divine purpose everyday is something I always dreamed about. When your working a 9-5 for an employer is helping others build their dreams not yours. We all start off that way, we start from scratch and work our own visions until we can be on our own, but that’s the main goal, to be on our own paths. I’m definitely more happier as a business owner, there’s nothing like making your own hours and schedule and have time to do the things you wanted to do. Be the boss that the Lord created you to do, its time. Let me tell you about my businesses, the first one is called Synergy Network Worldwide which is a Faith based Global Network, the second is Synergy Public Relations for Marketing and PR support and the third one is Resumes for Christ. These businesses and platforms were formed because there was a need for connection in the community, marketing and promotional services in order to expand and succeed. I love what I do and recommend taking a risk and finally stepping out into their calling its 2023 and its time.

Margie, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Here’s a little snippet from my Bio. Margie Santos is an Author, TV Host, Entrepreneur, Actress, Producer, Founder and CEO of Synergy Network Worldwide since 2016, Resumes4 Christ since 2000, and launched Synergy Public Relations since 2022. She’s a Journalist, Public Speaker, Publicist, Manager, Ordained Minister with The Fraternity of Churches in Christ, Chaplain, & Actress, Producer, Screenwriter, and Mental Health advocate to God be the glory. She wrote and Co-Produced her own Documentary called C.E.O the Christ Empowered Overcomer in 2022, and later self published her own book C.E.O Christ Empowered Overcomer which is now available on Amazon. After overcoming a severe burnout and Bell’s palsy due to stress, she is now a Mental Health advocate and public speaker on avoiding mental stress as an entrepreneur. She has a talk show called The Synergy Network Talk Show which was birthed from the pandemic to help promote her clients, with future plans to run on a streaming network in 2023. Also she is running in the 2023 Ms. Corporate America pageant representing her home state of New York.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

My Resilience in life honestly comes from learning many things by myself, I never really had the support when starting a business, and received many NO’s along the way. I had to depend on my faith and learned as I go and these circumstances made me have an unstoppable attitude in life. I became determined to make it no matter what, God wanted me to rely on Him and He was surely going to get the glory for it. So keep going hard and strong in whatever it is that you are doing, don’t give up on yourself, people out there need you and the gifts that you have. As I grew and my company expanded I then started to see the support that I needed. Now I don’t need to look for others, I have added so much value that draws others to me.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

One of the lessons I had to unlearn as a business owner and generally in life is definitely not to burn bridges. Relationships are important in life and necessary and should be a big part of our lives especially as believers. We should see people from where they are and try to get along no matter the circumstances are. There ‘s a famous quote that says “No man is an island” and its so true, we can’t do things by ourselves we need others in this journey called life.
