Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to William Hall. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, William thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think Corporate America gets wrong in your industry?
From my perspective, inclusion and the professional development aspects of the current workforce are not being approached in a productive manner in today’s Corporate America. Due to the disconnect between upper-level management and the frontline workforce there exists a multitude of issues and arising problems regarding attrition, turnover and unhappy workplace. Those elements are conducive for a declining workforce motivation and disparity in understanding how to retain a new generation of employees. This matter displays pattern of apathy that will ultimately affect the financial and social climates in the years to come. An uptick in entrepreneurial pursuits and a downward trend in the corporate workforce, which will in turn reduce the way business is conducted in every industry. More unprofessional interactions surrounding business, an increase in unemployment, an upward trend in crime and a divide in the corporate social structure due to clear difference in upper-level management and frontline ethnic orientation.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Entrepreneurially, On January 4th of 2018, started my first business for the purpose of conducting Real Estate investing and transactions. On that same day I purchased my first home with cash from a savings account. I accomplished those achievements as a result of attending multiple Real Estate investment classes and studying those individuals who are excelling in that field.
Today, I continue to participate in Real Estate investing and property flipping but my business has evolved as I have throughout the years. I operate a philanthropic foundation for the purpose reaching and aiding the less fortunate. Namely, “Blankets in the Park” being one of the passions I have had the pleasure of partnering with businesses such as Comcast, local radio stations and local businesses to provide blankets to the homeless.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned along they way, be very diligent about who you choose to do business with. It’s vitally important that communication and purpose is the driving force of the business relationship created to produce a result. Also, don’t be afraid to do what is necessary despite how others may perceive it. Meaning, if your business is not paying the bills and you need to start back working full or part time for stability, it is OK. Just don’t stop building your business and brand in the process. The “how” is noted in the “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” book.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
People should know, like many of their idols and mentors whose stories are a result of resilience. My story is of similar nature. I have a passion for helping others and building a legacy that surpasses my time on this earth. I use the experiences that I have to provide mentoring, counseling, life coaching and consulting for those individuals that want assistance on reaching the future God has planned for them. A future that display’s prosperity in every area of life. I will continue on this mission of impacting people in a positive way through the release of my book “Fingerprints” releasing in 2023. “A guide in accepting the Unique “You” that God intended” Re-vamping and re-launching my website www.definewillpower.com so that anyone seeking aid, help and coaching can schedule a free session with me.
Also, using platforms and stages to spread the message of love, true prosperity and personal development. I will be a part of the “The Great American Speak Off for an opportunity to speak at 10x Growth Con. I have hosted Comcast events on a national level and offered the opportunity to become a Comcast BEN Culture Shock co-host.
