Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Danariya Pubien. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Danariya thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
Growing up I’ve always wanted to my own boss . I realized working for someone is not something I look forward to all my life . I am very creative so I have had quite a few business ideas but I didn’t want to make a page for every single one of them . Most times it was because I didn’t feel motivated enough to fall through with my ideas but i eventually found time and started seeing it through. . My family , friends and even strangers was rooting for me . So I came up with “RoyaltyCreations” to combine all my creative ideas together . I was so excited that I didn’t even give it a second thought . I jumped right into because I knew exactly what I wanted and what i was going for . I am currently making custom ideas for events , trips , business owners + more . Right now I am focused on making things for Seniors but I do accept orders for other things as well but in high school I wasn’t really motivated to do anything including taking senior pictures . I was just ready to graduate . I didn’t have the time to find someone to make me any custom items so I came up with an idea of learning to make custom things for seniors , juniors .. literally anyone ! Business is kind of slow right now .. it does takes time but coming up with “RoyaltyCreations” is one of the best things I could’ve done . I am still learning and growing but I am getting there . I also have another business I am working on .. I am not going to give any major details as of yet but I am excited for this launch
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi , I am Danariya Pubien but I go by Nari . I am 19 years old . I graduated from Northeast High School in 2022. Growing up I have always to be my own boss but didn’t know where to really start . I have had so many business ideas and never actually fell through with them . I was never motivated enough . Until , I started working at 16 years old and I realized like this isn’t for me . I want to have my own business and make my own hours . I want to be able to make people happy and fulfill their needs . So , I started researching and writing things down as much as possible. .I started with selling clothes and airpods . At first , it was very rocky but once I learned the ropes . my business was so successful but then I slowed down because of school . I didn’t know how to balance it out . which caused me to lose customers in the process because I wasn’t marketing as often I was suppose to . So I eventually stopped and once I graduated I was able to give it my all but wanted something different. So I came up with “RoyaltyCreations”. I make custom items for my graduation , trips + more . My customers are NEVER unsatisfied with their purchase . One thing I can say that I learned with making custom items + more is to stick to your policy because people will try to play with you and feel like they are obligated for certain things . Also, don’t ever change your price to accommodate someone else’s need unless you made a mistake on your end ! I am most proud of me for not giving up . I am proud that I am able to provide and fullfill the needs for my customers and hoping they return and spread my business by word of mouth or even on social media . It takes a lot to run a business and it may not start off smooth but keep going . I am working so hard to improve and add on more things so follow me and be on the look out . I have some major things coming soon
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
To fund my business, I started working . I didn’t know how else I was going to fund it . I was working almost everyday . I still do work to fund my business but I learned to balance it out . Sometimes it is kind of hard for me to have to get off work and start working on orders but how else is it going to get done . If I had to give you guys any words of encouragement it will be to “Work until your business starts working for you and helps you afford the life you want”.
Has your business ever had a near-death moment? Would you mind sharing the story?
There are times we’re I called out of work 3-4 times back to back to make sure my customers receive their things on time even though I know business isn’t booming at the moment but the customers I do have I want to make sure they are happy and satisfied . One day I will be having multiple orders coming in all at once till where I will need a team . I am patiently waiting on that day . I never regret missing a day of work for my business . I see it as progress honestly . It takes a lot but it also depends on you and how much you want your business to succeed.
