Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Allison Welch. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Allison, appreciate you joining us today. Often outsiders look at a successful business and think it became a success overnight. Even media and especially movies love to gloss over nitty, gritty details that went into that middle phase of your business – after you started but before you got to where you are today. In our experience, overnight success is usually the result of years of hard work laying the foundation for success, but unfortunately, it’s exactly this part of the story that most of the media ignores. Can you talk to us about your scaling up story – what are some of the nitty, gritty details folks should know about?
When opening a new business success does not happen overnight, but soon after with the right processes & procedures. As we expand our personal assistant and event planning services nationwide we setting our franchisees up for success and training them on how to scale the business.
Hiring more team members for larger projects such as move coordination, holiday installations and events are ways to scale up.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Social media is a huge part of showcasing your services. Our team takes photos of every project, from a stunning mountain top wedding to waiting in line at the DMV. The photos make it easy for potential clients to learn more about your offerings.
Create accounts in Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Google, post daily updates on projects, team success, testimonials and seasonal updates. Keep up with stories as well as what hashtags to post to up your SEO.
How do you keep your team’s morale high?
Be sure to keep in touch with your team! It’s great if we are all working on a large client project together, but if that is not the case, mix up your weekly meetings. We like to meet at the office one week, new restaurant another and maybe a hike the next week. Also, giving praise and recognition when its due. I think its important to let your staff know how great of a job they have been doing, keeps them motivated.
