We recently connected with Rochelle Hodge aka Queen Aberash and have shared our conversation below.
Rochelle aka Queen Aberash, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I retired in 2018 from a fun filled professional hair stylist of over 25+ years.
I decided one day in June of 2015 to not do hair for a day, with an ideal of going out for a day and feed my fellow coworkers barbers and hair stylists, some loaded potatoes topping which included chicken, bacon, sour cream, green onions, and jalapenos.
When I made it back home for the my day my phone blow up with calls, texts and reviews of how awesome the food was, with that energy and feedback from my customers I decided to do 3 days of hair and 3 days of Twice Baked loaded baked potatoes as weeks and months Twice Baked over took my hair business which i made the decision to retired from hair styling and surprisely an accidental Success story happened and Twice Baked was Born!!
I build a team presented the product and the rest is history, yes, its food option by the boat load in the fabulous Las Vegas area but no one was racking out top tier loaded potatoes, phenomenal customer service in a clean and sanitized environment every time However, in general, many successful businesses are born from identifying a problem or a gap in the market and finding a unique solution to address it. It’s important to have a clear understanding of your target audience, competitors, and the overall market landscape. Excitement and passion for the idea can also be a driving force in making a business successful.
Twice Baked as of October 19th, 2021 open our doors to our very first brick and mortar and celebrated a grand opening Location at 6020 W Craig Rd #130 Las Vegas, NV 89130, we are looking forward to multiple location across the Las Vegas valley.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
in the middle of Twice Baked under construction and in the heartbeat of covid shutdown we had a whole car crash into our restaurant full car into the building . if thats not resilience, consistentcy and perseverance I dont know what to say
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
TRYING TO PLEASE EVERYONE
you CAN NOT AND DONT TRY if my team and I show up every day and give a 1000% each and every day we open them doors and do everything we can to make sure our guests walk away with the absoulte best experience and we still have certain individuals and its not us we know we cant please everyone so we show up and give what we got and we okay with that
