We recently connected with Milan Credle and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Milan , thanks for joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I first knew when I was in college in my dorm room doing homework as an undeclared major wondering to myself if I want to do homework and work for others my entire life. At that moment I decided that I wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally.

Milan , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Milan Credle. I was born and raised in Washington D.C. I got into music initially because of D.C.’s own music genre, “Go-Go music”. From running around at block parties to cleaning up in the house, Go-Go music was playing all around me and all of the time. This sparked my interest and love for music. I started writing poetry and songs as early as 9/10 years old. Then as a teen, I joined a Go-Go band with friends and toured the DMV area for about 3 years together before I left for college on a football scholarship. In college, I began to produce music on FL Studio my freshman year and then produced my very first beat tape that next year. Alongside friends while in college, we produced my first mixtape at the age of 19. Ever since then Iv’e been growing, constantly learning, studying, and creating to the present day.
What creative products and services I provide is through my Co-owned Semi-Label, Driven Entertainment, where we not only produce, promote/market, and publish music, content, and media in general from in-house artist, producers, podcasters, filmmakers, etc, but we also offer creative services as well to other independent artist and creatives. We’re like a label for hire.
I help clients communicate their story effectively and at the highest level creatively. I believe this sets myself and our company apart because we take time to develop clients through life coaching, licensed therapy, simultaneously creating and being pushed creatively to bring out the story in a effective and authentic way where it connects with listeners.
The thing I’m most proud of is that what I create and currently help build, is a clear and authentic reflection of who I am as a person which people can relate, respect, and even feel inspired to do the same because its safe to do so. Sometimes we feel like we can’t because we haven’t seen it done before. That’s why you need those certain people to take the risks for others, and I’m one of them because someone did it for me.
I want potential clients/followers/fans/ to know that we all have a story to share with the world around us. Whether our family and community or a broader audience around the world. Whoever has ears to hear will listen. Our stories are what drives us, and since the beginning of time we have been driven by stories. Let us help you tell your story….

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
In my opinion, the most rewarding aspect of being a creative is healing while I share my story with others and helping others heal sharing their story and listening to the stories being shared. It’s like a form of therapy that everyone can benefit from at the same time.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
There was a time where I didn’t have any help or assistance while attempting to grow my career but at the same time there was a lot of artist who I had relationships with who were coming to me for advice and help creating their art. For a brief moment, I paused my pursuits and focused on others around me and that’s where the idea for the company came. As help came, I was then able to focus on my art again and everything worked well harmoniously.
