We were lucky to catch up with Early Birds Club Teens recently and have shared our conversation below.
Early Birds Club , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
EBC Teens works to host events and other activities that are meaningful to the teens participating. That is an important virtue we hold. One series that was particularly insightful to the teens was the Career Series. In the career series, we invited a variety of adults in different fields such as international law, aviation, art, and others. We interviewed the adults asking them about the paths they took to reach where they were now along with what exactly their job entails. We included different teens to interview. Then the videos were posted on Youtube. This not only was beneficial for teens who are unsure of what their future holds but, also helped the teens gain public speaking skills.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
We EBC Teens are a youth organization aiming to create a global community of powerful citizens and compassionate leaders. Composed of young adults between 13 and 23, this platform drives the youth to consciously work towards creating one world – one family. EBC Teens encourages teens to use their voices to speak about current events and topics that matter to them. It is vital for today’s youth to have confidence in their opinions. We want to give them a platform that grows their spirit and gives them a chance to interact with people from all walks of life. EBC Teens has a telegram group where teens can have conversations with each other. We also have plenty of virtual events. Some events are purely interview based such as the career series however, others are hands-on such as yoga, learning Sanskrit, making art pieces, etc. Furthermore, EBC Teens also hosts competitions to get the teens involved in fun activities. They have in-person volunteering events as well. The recent one was the fruit tree plantation. EBC Teens also has a blog that allows all teens to submit pieces. The bottom line is that EBC Teens wishes to empower teens and give them a platform to connect with each other.

The mission that drives EBC Teens is empowering teens. EBC Teens is a platform that wishes to uplift teens. We want to give teens the space to express themselves, gain valuable skills such as public speaking, and connect with like-minded individuals. Here at EBC Teens, we are dedicated to growing teens’ spirits.
