We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Princess Cole. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Princess below.
Princess, appreciate you joining us today. If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.
A defining moment in my life is when I finally got overwhelmed with my daughter’s asthma and thought to myself, there has to be another way to deal with this other than giving her prescription meds that didn’t seem to make much of a difference. That’s when I got deep into my herbalism journey, and I guess you could say that my daughter was my first client. I heavily researched and I was able to manage her asthma naturally, without prescription meds. This was in 2014, and she hasn’t needed a nebulizer since.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a healer. I use yoga, meditation and herbalism to help people live a healthier lifestyle. I got deeper into the world of herbalism after caring for my oldest daughter with asthma. It made me want to help other people. Not only by providing herbal preparations, but my knowledge as well.
I sell herbal products, such as tinctures, skincare and tea blends. I also offer online herbalism courses, and most recently, an eBook. I offer them alternative healthcare that benefits them physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. All of them are extremely important for overall health. What sets me apart from others is that I am honest about the things I teach and when I don’t know something, I say so. I don’t offer information about things that I don’t know just to look good.
One of the main things that I want potential clients to know is that they can trust my knowledge, and know that I am always researching to find way to better assist them on their journey to a healthier lifestyle.
Can you talk to us about how your funded your firm or practice?
Funding to start my apothecary didn’t require much since I was bringing in money from my other businesses. And because I already had supplies from making products for myself, my family and friends, that helped make it easier.
If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
If I could go back, I would most definitely choose the same profession, but I’d do it differently. I would’ve started with a holistic approach from the very beginning and attended naturopathy school instead of going into the field of modern medicine. It’s not too late to go that route, but that means I’d have to relocate, and that’s not something I want to do. But I definitely wish I had ND (Naturopathic Doctor) behind my name.
