We were lucky to catch up with Sammy Reyes recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Sammy, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

Our mission is to be able to not only heal people’s skin & hair with our plant-based products, but to provide healing tools based on crystal energies & genuine interactions. All of that stemmed from when I struggled with severe psoriasis and couldn’t find anything that would clear it out until I decided to see what naturally heals the skin. Mother Nature! From there, I created a soap that cleared all of my psoriasis and even my wife’s eczema! I was able to increase both of our confidence of our skin and we wanted to share that with the world. Especially for those that suffer with skin conditions that bring down their self-esteem. It’s important to us that people are aware that there are herbs that benefit our skin, our health, and the mind.

Sammy, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I started this company to heal peoples skin that are going against them since I’ve dealt with psoriasis for many years. I understand the toll it takes on a persons self esteem. We provide plant based soaps, lotion, hair conditioner and intention candles/oils, and crystals/crystal jewelry. We believe in the power that herbs have and the energies crystals provide when implementing them into our daily lives. We assure everyone that all of our products are set or made with intention so it can do its purpose in their lives.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to unlearn that medicine from the doctor isn’t always the way to go. When I was finding a reason for my irritated skin that spread all over my body, they told me ridiculous reasons that led to me purchasing big amounts of money to fix my skin that only worsened it. When I decided to use natural remedies, my skin had no problem soaking up its benefits. After that, most products i use are natural or plant based.

How did you build your audience on social media?

We are mostly active on Instagram, but the way we built our audience was simply by uploading videos of our process of most of our handmade products and the intention we set with all of it. People are able to see how genuine and thoughtful we are of how we make our products that it shows through our videos with editing and music choices. My advice would be to be consistent and always find improvements to catch people’s eye for them to recognize our mission and understand our intentions.
