Mayson, appreciate you joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
When I was little, my mom owned a mini digital camera and she would bring it everywhere and print out every photo she took. Till this day there is so many photos in bins and all over her wall that I look back on. While she wasn’t using the digital camera, I would take it and run around to anything I laid my eyes on. Being grown up, I created MaysonHphotography a Band and portrait photography business. Now i use my big kid camera running around the local scenes in Seattle, WA.

Hello! My name is Mayson, I’m a photographer in Seattle, WA. I have been in the scenes around here since 2018 and started my photography journey in 2020 at the Charleston in Bremerton, WA. I use a Canon 6D with a fisheye lens I got from craigslist and people call me fisheye guy. If you see me around say hey! I love all of my supporters from Kitsap, Olympia, Bellingham, and Seattle of course!
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
While being behind the camera the most rewarding thing to receive is honesty smiles and people seeing my work in general and enjoying it.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My goal as of right now is to take some photos of bigger artists at bigger venues so until then I’ll try and keep working my way up until I get there.
