Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to God Body Bingo. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
God Body, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
As early as 15 years old I’ve felt like I was capable of being a successful artist if that’s what I chose to do. Over the years after that I began to record and release music but it took a while to decide I wanted to pursue it as a career. After attending college in 2014-15 and realizing that no subject interested me more than my craft, I knew a career in music was the life I wanted for myself.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’ve had a love for Hip-Hop for as long as I can remember and have been writing raps since I was in middle school. I have been professionally known as God Body Bingo since 2018 and have released numerous EP’s and singles since then and my debut album “Off The Books” in 2021. I’m most proud of that album and everything around it, from the rollout and creation of it to the 2 headline concerts I put on after I released it.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My goal when I make music is ultimately to make people feel good, confident, and proud to be who they are. The messages in my songs vary track to track, but overall I try to share my thoughts and feelings in a real and relatable way to show people how I walk in my purpose from knowing who I am.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to first learn how to humble myself and realize that just because I felt like I was talented that it didn’t mean I’d necessarily be successful. Ironically, I also had to learn how to stand on my worth and not allow me being humble to put me in a bad situation or neglect myself.
