Hi Jessi , thanks for joining us today. Let’s start big picture – what are some of biggest trends you are seeing in your industry?
Having recently launched two e-commerce businesses that exclusively use vegan, clean ingredients, I’ve noticed a growing trend among consumers who are increasingly drawn towards such products. One of my product lines, EXECULUXE, features bags made from vegan leather, which has occasionally elicited negative comments from those who view traditional leather as more valuable. However, I firmly believe that it’s time for us as a society to move beyond the outdated practice of slaughtering animals for their skin. With a plethora of alternative options available, luxury goods companies like mine have the opportunity to take a stand and demonstrate that it’s possible to offer premium products without causing harm to animals.
As a passionate advocate for ethical and sustainable practices, I’m committed to promoting a more conscious approach to consumerism. I firmly believe that by offering high-quality, luxurious products that are cruelty-free and eco-friendly, we can help shift the industry toward a more ethical and sustainable future.
Of course, there will always be naysayers who insist that genuine leather is the only option for luxury goods. But I believe that as more consumers become aware of the harm caused by the fashion industry to both animals and the environment, the demand for vegan and sustainable alternatives will continue to grow.
Ultimately, my goal is not only to provide consumers with high-quality products that align with their values but also to inspire others in the industry to follow suit. By working together, we can create a future where luxury goods are not just a symbol of status and wealth, but also a symbol of social responsibility and environmental stewardship.

The story behind my perfume brand, Elysian Parfums, is deeply personal to me. It all started with my sister, who shared my love for perfume. However, in 2021, she lost her battle with cancer, leaving behind two young children, Evan and Elysia. As a promise to my sister, I made a commitment to take care of them and provide for their future.
With Elysian Parfums, I have found a way to honor my sister’s memory and create something special for my niece and nephew. I want to give them something that they can have a stake in when they reach the age to work.
When I’m crafting my perfumes, I always try to incorporate a jasmine note whenever it’s appropriate. This is because jasmine was my sister’s favorite scent, and I want to pay tribute to her in every way possible.
To me, Elysian Parfums is more than just a brand – it’s a way to keep my sister’s spirit alive and leave a lasting legacy for my niece and nephew. I pour my heart and soul into every fragrance, knowing that each one carries a piece of my sister’s memory with it.
As a busy professional who is constantly on the go, I noticed a significant gap in the market when it came to luxury travel options for women. Backpacks and bulky rolling luggage simply weren’t cutting it, and I knew that there had to be a better solution.
That’s when I came up with the idea of merging the functionality of a rolling briefcase with the sophistication of a designer bag. But I didn’t stop there – I took it a step further by developing a trolley system that could be detached, allowing the rollerbrief to convert into a chic weekender bag. This innovative design is now patent pending, and I couldn’t be more proud of the results.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
From the very beginning, I knew that launching EXECULUXE was going to be a challenge. As a working woman who traveled frequently, I noticed a gap in the market for a luxury rolling briefcase that was both functional and stylish. But when I shared my idea with others, I was met with criticism and negativity.
People told me that my idea was “stupid” and that my bags would never sell. I even received hurtful comments online from strangers who had never seen my products in person. But despite the doubts and the obstacles, I refused to give up on my vision.
Through sheer grit and determination, I poured my heart and soul into EXECULUXE, working tirelessly to perfect every detail of my bags. And slowly but surely, all of that hard work started to pay off.
Now, just four months into my venture, I am proud to say that I am selling an average of 50 bags every month – and that number is only growing. It’s humbling to see my products in the hands of happy customers who appreciate the blend of luxury and functionality that EXECULUXE provides.
Looking back on those early days, I’m reminded of just how resilient I’ve had to be to get where I am today. Despite the negativity and criticism, I never lost faith in myself or my brand. And that unwavering belief is what allowed me to overcome every obstacle and reach the level of success that I enjoy today.
If you have multiple revenue streams in your business, would you mind opening up about what those streams are and how they fit together?
As an entrepreneur, I have always believed in the importance of having multiple streams of income. While my main focus is on my insurance business, Inspired Insurance Solutions, I have also found success in a variety of other ventures.
One of these streams of income is from the proceeds of my best-selling book, Soul Beneficiary, which is available on Amazon. Writing has always been a passion of mine, and I was thrilled to see that others were interested in reading my work.
In addition to writing, I have also found success in speaking engagements. I am able to share my knowledge and experience with others while earning income at the same time. It’s a win-win situation!
Another source of income for me is from an online course I created to help insurance agents become million-dollar producers. It’s fulfilling to be able to help others succeed while also generating revenue.
I’ve also found success with Turo, a car rental service, by listing some of my cars on their platform. And of course, I can’t forget about my e-commerce businesses, which have been steadily growing since their launch.
Having multiple streams of income has allowed me to not only diversify my revenue streams, but also to explore my passions and interests. It’s not always easy juggling so many different things, but I find that each venture feeds into the others, creating a more well-rounded and successful career overall.
