We recently connected with Vivian Le and have shared our conversation below.
Vivian , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
I am currently a full-time student, and besides being a student I am trying my best to create content on my social media platforms. I have a passion for fashion! Dressing up to go out is one of my favorite things to do, so why not record or post photos on my Instagram or TikTok. Watching “GRWMs” or regular aesthetic are my go to when it comes to scrolling on social media. I do a lot of story telling on my TikTok while doing my makeup or getting ready to go somewhere. To know there is someone out there that may be going through the same personal issues with me can be comforting at times. It feels like I am on FaceTime with my bestfriends when I create/post videos. The photos on my Instagram is a way that I use to express my personality, to show people who I am outside of being a full-time student and homebody.
With school, it is my goal to get accepted into Dental School for the Fall 2024 school year. I am currently in my last year of undergrad, which I am very proud of because it took me 3.5 years to finish. Being able to finish my studying gave me high hopes for what my future would look like. Though school is not something i want to do for that much longer, putting my spare time into social media and my creation is also important. Being a dentist for the rest of my life is not the picture I have for myself. I would love to practice for a good 10-12 years and retire! I want to be able to have my own practices that people can rent from or have people work under my name. Being able to be a business owner and potentially get into real estate is apart of my big dream. Having social media as part as my income is something on my bucket list.
I am only 20 years old and I would love to start building my source of income from multiple perspectives.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I come from a very traditional, Vietnamese household. I am a first generation that is expected to do bigger and better for my family. From the age of 5 to 17, I did competitive gymnastics and my goal was to make it through college gymnastics or the Olympics. It sadly was not my dream anymore once I started to get injuries, but the sport never left my heart. I was always the one family member that dressed different or had accomplishments that no one would expect. My fashion and my education was very different compared to any of my cousins, and sometimes I would get picked on or say I am dreaming to big. As a person, I love to manifest my future and I would always talk out loud what I will accomplish. I also talk a lot about having my own land and building my house from the ground up.
My family is not the wealthiest, but we work with what we have in order to keep life going day by day. Being able to accomplish so much in my life would only prove not only to myself, but my family that I will be the first to go far in life. Either that be becoming a dentist, social media influencer, or doing both to support my lifestyle.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Being able to express myself the way I want people to know who I really am as a person.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Knowing how to social network in my community.
