We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tara Carroll. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tara below.
Tara, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
If you look at my entire life journey up until this point; it’s been all about risk taking. Before the world even considered me “an influencer”, I was the girl that people told shared too much. I was the family member that other family members would reach out to to tell me to “take that post down.”
Not only did I keep sharing, but overtime through the journey, I found the purest intention in which continues to drive me to this day: love & healing.
You see, when I share with my audience, it is about “just one person.” If “just one person” believes in love, begins to have hope again, continues to keep fighting, decides to heal , etc simply off of my real life testimony that I have shared; then my job is complete.
But again, I had to take a risk and continue to do so each day I put my life out in the world.

Tara, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am Tara Nicolina Carroll advocate for all things Unconditional Love: Marriage & Relationships. My husband and I began this journey before we even realized as were that one “young couple.” Not only did we meet on Instagram, but we also eloped at the ripe ages of 19 and 21. Now at the ages of 26 & 27, we share our journey and guide those along the similar path of unconditional love while sharing how we break generational curses, navigate love languages, the different seasons of marriage etc.
Last July, we released a Marriage workbook for not only those in marriages or relationships, but for those who are single as well as true unconditional love starts with self so everything we talk about in this workbook can be done as a single individual as well and we encourage it.
The workbook also includes a journal to write as a couple as there are weekly tasks to complete and record. Lastly, there is a portion of the book that is centered around documenting and scrapbooking date nights.
I feel as though what completely sets apart from majority of the “internet couples” is the fact that our brand/business or content (if you will) is not about us; it’s about helping the collective; and spreading TRUE AGAPE – UNCONDITIONAL LOVE from one household to the next like a ripple in a pond. Our goal is to build strong foundations in marriages. Our goal is to help those who stopped believing in love to believe again. Our goal is to remind the WORLD that: Love Always Wins! That’s L.A.W
(Our slogan) -which is also available in merch on our website. We have matching couples sweaters and will be releasing the spring/summer collection soon.
With a following of over 130,000 followers combined on multiple platforms, my husband and I travel, share our everyday life, to inspire couples and singles who may have stopped believing in love. I would be perfect for this job because everywhere i go, i bring my authentic loving aura that makes people want go where i go , do what I do, simply to experience the love that i share.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of what I do is seeing the lives that are changed by sharing my life and things I grow through. For example, there was a couple that came to my husband and I via DM and they shared how they were in the brink of divorce until they started implementing the things we were sharing on our Instagram. So not only were they no longer considering divorce, but they were now in a season of healing and rebuilding their marriage and we were simply an inspiration towards that. THIS IS WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
Truly support your creatives like you do your celebrities. Give them feedback, share if they’ve inspired you, share their posts (if not on social media then IN PERSON where it seems fitting or necessary), buy their art or merchandise. It’s hard being a creative because you put your heart on your sleeve, so if you really rock/vibe with your creative; SHOW UP AND SHOW OUT
