We recently connected with Jacqueline Lovett and have shared our conversation below.
Jacqueline , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you recount a time when the advice you provided to a client was really spot on? (Please note this response is for education/entertainment purposes only and shouldn’t be construed as advice for the reader)
The best advice I ever gave to a client was that ” NO” is Bae and establishing this mindset is an important first step to setting healthy boundaries with those around you”. This client was struggling with people pleasing and she was very unhappy because she had little to no time for herself. She found herself too available to lend a helping hand, support others, even to the point of giving out loans and being frustrated when the person she had given it to didn’t not make the efforts to repay her. . She benefited by being able to set proper boundaries with people without feeling guilty about it. She was able to stop putting others needs before her own which allowed her to blossom mentally, physically, and emotionally because she created that room in her life for herself and took her time back.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
It’s, Jacqueline Chyi, like the “tea”, also known as “The Manifestation Muva” of Confidence & Curves. I am a feminine confidence, lifestyle & body transformation coach. I currently live in Dayton, Ohio. I am a mama to two boys ages 3 and 8. I was born in Dayton, Ohio raised in Pensacola, fl. In 2020, I started a brand called “Manifest Luxe” where I would provide personal training, group training and class as well as, activewear and other health and wellness products for the body and this brand was inspired by my 100lb weight-loss journey. I gained over 110lbs between 2018-2019 partially due to depression and mental health, but getting pregnant was the icing on the cake, I went from 217 – 326 lbs in a little over a year. In 2020 I decided it was time to take my life back. I have lost over 100lbs … at my heaviest I was 326 and miserable … I started my lifestyle & body transformation journey at 305lbs, and I did this by implementing actionable lifestyle changes such as daily exercise, meditation, journaling, making sustainable nutrition changes and adding supplements such daily multi vitamins, wearing my waist trainer, my fat burner, and doing monthly detoxes. As a resilient woman who has gone through many of her own transformations. I feel it is my purpose to guide my clients in a way that removes the fear, negative beliefs and self-doubt that is often associated with change through self-mastery, which allows my clients to walk into more confident and bolder version of themselves. I am a certified personal trainer. I am also certified in fitness, health, life, confidence & feminine embodiment transformation. I am also a certified nutrition specialist. I am dedicated to guiding women into transforming their confidence inside and out and after working with me they leave with a confident mindset, lifestyle, and a body they desire. As “The Luxe Wellness Coach”, I serve women of all walks of life and all over the world by meeting them where they are and encouraging them to find themselves, build confidence & design their “luxe life. Which to me includes a life of confidence, femininity, abundance, and overall healthy habits.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn so much but the most important lesson would for sure be that “I didn’t have to go to college and work a traditional job to be successful in life. I had to unlearn the lies of settling for what was Infront me and that there is nothing more than that. I had to unlearn the idea of chasing my family’s ideas of success and go after my own. Lastly. I had to open and expand my perspective to see the true opportunities and experiences of the world.
Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
I believe that what makes any coach more successful is their ability to show relatability, wisdom, and first-hand experience. I also believe that confidence and authenticity will propel coaches and entrepreneurs to the next level because people want to connect with someone that they not only want to be like but also who understands them on a personal level
