We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Mark Broussard a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Mark, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
I came up with the idea for my business based off of what I do in life, which is Fitness and personal protection, along with fire on construction and safety. so it only makes sense to use those three together and I came up with the name right fit protection, looking good while providing a phenomenal service.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I first got into this industry, doing alcohol enforcement at the Seahawks stadium in Seattle, Washington, and from there, quickly elevated to security site manager continue to advance on a personal note in educating myself further in the industry. Taking courses on situational awareness, firearm, safety, instructor for rifle and pistol, and also coming up with a program for self-defense called I am not the victim And then obtain certification for fitness instructing used those two together to create right fit protection LLC. I decided to go along with that service because I feel there are more people that could utilize my services and feel comfortable in doing so knowing that they can have a sense of peace and handling their business and having personal protection at the same time also at a reasonable price.
with the Fitness, it has been a passion of mine and I know that health is number one in my life and being able to perform physically, in all aspects of life is a must, and a great asset to perform the abilities needed in my field of work.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I feel that in doing anything in life, your reputation should proceed. As I do business with others and build my business accreditation, I always tend to put customer service and respect at the top of the list. Without that sense of humbleness and respect, you could kill your business and reputation, I love the quote “ respect is earned not given”, and so for that, I live on earning the respect of people through my actions and knowledge base and what I do and services are offered. I love to educate those in the things they do not know that pertain to my company and the things that I give.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
What is the most effective strategies at work for me and building my company was being what I was preaching to others which is respectful, honest, and upfront with everything. I feel that respect carries you a long way and you need to be a man of what you say, and provide Exceptional service in what you do I am a people person, and I love to be a rapport with others in the ones that I come in contact with and knowing that I did an exceptional service that will leave an everlasting imprint on their lives and from there, we’ll leave a great reputation for your business
