We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tanicia Prioleau . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tanicia below.
Tanicia, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?
One of the best things I’ve seen and done is to contribute value to their lives. This is why it’s so important to value your customers. There are many ways to demonstrate value, but honoring and respecting my customers’ time is one of the best things I have ever done or seen.
Even though respecting time may seem trivial to company owners, customers appreciate it. Additionally, speaking with your customer and learning about their needs demonstrates your sincere gratitude.

Tanicia, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
There is so much to share; I will start with the fact that I am an author, blogger, writer, and strategist. I am also a wife and mother of two beautiful children. I’ve enjoyed writing since my youth, from writing notes in my diary to passing notes to my friends in class (before cell phones, haha). Writing has helped me to express my feelings and remember my daily tasks.
I’ve used my writing to start a blog and produce two books. In addition, I provide my clients with writing services, including book publishing assistance and project management, for their everyday tasks. Although I can wear many hats, my multifaceted skill set sets me apart.
I’m confident that my clients will be happy with the quality of service I offer and the contribution I can make to their projects.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
My best method for increasing my clients is to let it expand naturally. Typically, this happens through word of mouth, services provided to previous clients, and demonstrating the capability and value my services can offer prospective and repeat clients.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
Promoting collaboration and granting individuals autonomy is crucial when leading a team and maintaining morale. The worst thing we can do is micromanage, but a servant leader is the finest kind of leader we can be. We are to be of service to those we supervise and give them space to develop, make mistakes, and broaden their horizons; this will enable your team members to learn from their mistakes in any situation.
