Being a business owner is bittersweet. You can’t just be in it for the “good times”. There will be the good times, but low points as well.. Make sure you are rooted before you decide to open a business, because the storms are inevitable. To be successful you need to be grounded & clear of who you are. I know my work ethic, taste, mission, & vision clearly, & stay true to that. I protect my brand, & have my own back completely. Don’t get distracted with what others are doing – there is only one you. The world needs you.

I have always loved fashion, & have lived in England, Germany, NYC, & now stunning Bucks County PA. My boutique is a curated collection of fellow women small business owners, that are up and coming. I carry inclusive sizes, affordable style, & neutrals to bold colors. I am a mother, wife, & small business owner, showing women they can do anything they set their minds to. Live your passion. Dream big. Life is a runway, & you are a masterpiece.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
On my opening, a local influencer came into my boutique to support. I felt connected to her, was so grateful she wanted to help promote my new small business. I gifted her an evil eye purse my staff told me she loved, & our business relationship began. I hired her as a full time Social Media Manager, & through knowledge & consistency it has grown over 1000 followers in 3 months. Social media is vital to small businesses to grow and thrive.
How’d you meet your business partner?
My busy partner is my husband. It is someone I deeply trust, & I know has my back. If you partner, pick someone that you are completely aligned with. When I first told him about my dream, his first response was “that’s the best idea you ever had. Do it”. Someone on your team, with your best interest, is priceless.
