We recently connected with Pattie Freeman and have shared our conversation below.
Pattie, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
I have been asked how I got started and what made me pick the choice of being a Hypnotherapist.
In 1999 I was running my own business and I had a lot of lifestyle changes. Divorce, my mother passing and I trying to decide what I want to do in my life to make it more complete. I ended up going back to school finished my degree and also started working as a massage therapist. This brought me to sports helping athletes Being focused and getting in the zone.
Hypnotherapy came into my life as I was introduced to a psychologist that helped me integrate Hypnosis With my massage therapy.
The connections I made in the sports world not only help me but help the athletes get in the zone and help me give them an opportunity to use my modality to make them more focused and confident in their sport.
Working with individual athletes and teams was so rewarding and they found that what I was doing was so beneficial for them in every way. No matter where they were at in their career whether it was high school, college or Professional.
One of my rewarding situations where I helped a high school team that didn’t win for 25 years by doing Sports Mental Training they won three state championships back to back. It was amazing!
Doing my passion in life has provided me Meeting such wonderful people and working with positive clients and helping them change their life with hypnotherapy..
I guess I’m one of the lucky ones that could say I’m doing what I love to do, enjoy every day..
Since 2006 I had the opportunity to teach others to do what I do and help them find their way in doing things that they love to do in their life.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
Succeeding In business it’s a personal goal. My goal was to provide the best service ever and modalities to help my clients achieve positive outcome.
Patience, listening and understanding your client because every client is different. You have to grow with your business and your clients and find what’s best for them.
My education and expertise is what I counted on allowing my client To get the best experience ever.
I believe when you find a specialty that you love to do and be the best at it. So you become the expert and they will find you By Word of mouth. I was asked to appear as a consultant and a major series that aired back in 2013 called “Unnecessary Roughness” At that time I wrote a book called “The Edge” and that involved athletes to get in the zone. I also was part of the committee called WISE women in sports entertainment which gave me opportunity to share what I have my expertise in.
Recently I gave a opportunity to appear as a forensic expert on the TV series on Discovery plus channel which will air fall 2022.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Building your reputation is Your choice of where you want to go with your career.
Whether it’s a new modality you’re trying to do or to focus on certain clients.
I fine by me sticking to what I know and what my expertise is is more successful because the passion is there.
