We were lucky to catch up with Jalisa Danielle recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Jalisa thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
I truly believe my mission here is to educate. I do not mean to educate in the traditional sense, but to awaken people to realize that there is so much out there that we don’t know and we need to continue to question things and never stop learning. I have been told by so many, that I have a voice that people need to hear. I am using my gift of discernment to share with others on how to be a good judge of character of who and what we see on a daily basis. Are we being told the truth?
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I became an educator of course because I love teaching. I am fascinated by how things work and whenever I learn something new, I am eager to pass along that information to others. Children are especially vital because they offer a unique look at the world. They ask a lot of questions. However, I begin to realize that adults stop asking questions. I know I have influence and podcasting has been a great way for me to share my voice with the masses. I am especially proud of how quickly my podcast has grown in such a short amount of time. I cover an array of subjectd not to get you to choose one side or the other, but for you to listen to both sides and decide for yourself. My purpose is to inform people on a myriad of topics so that they are well informed and can live a most fulfilling life .
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I initially built my audience on social media through working in the music industry. Apparently, whenever you take pictures with famous people, people tend to want to be your friend. I get it. Then, I thought into posting a lot of fashion which people seemed to enjoy. However, as of lately, My audience has grown by a couple thousand in a few short months due to me pointing out hypocrisy’s and truth about things that we grew up learning, that we don’t realize are not what they seem. This is where people have become intrigued and want more for me.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I believe what helped me build my reputation within this market is my ability to speak the truth without holding anything back. Too often people tiptoe around speaking on what needs to be said because they don’t want to be offensive. There isn’t anything that I hide and will gladly vocalize an opinion if asked. People like when you are real. Most people can spot if you are putting on a show for everyone. I don’t do that. Never have, never will.
